Stripped lugs

Ok...within 2 days 4 of my 5 lugs on my right rear wheel have completely spitted out their threads all over my studs, completely mangling one of them. I have no FKN idea why the fuck this happens! Yesterday as i was tightening down my last lug it started free spinning, I pull it away and the entire thread is broken all over the studs threads, i replace it with one of my 280s spare tires lugs. Then today i take the same wheel off to adjust the POS ebay 8mm spacer (could that be the cause?) and my dumbass forgets to tighten the lugs all the way when i put down the car, i only moved the car a couple yards so i get out start tightened them down and 3 of them fkn free spin, i pull them out and they have stripped away their threads and one of the lugs fkn thread fucked up so bad as i was loosening it melted all over the stud and now its fucked up too.

Im now on only 4 lugs on all of my wheels as 3 of the lugs i took from my other wheels just to get home and one more from my 280s spare tire lugs. I dont know anywhere i can get OEM nissan lugs w/o paying an assload at a dealership. if anyone has some lugs and 2 rear S14 wheels studs LMK! and Why does did this happen to my right rear wheel?

Bro, OEM and after market doesn't really make a difference. The studs and lug nuts may have been threaded or way too over tightened. IMO If that keeps happening, replace all of them, and get matching lug nuts and all...

u might have tried putting like lugs that weren't the right size. trying to put that 1.5 size on with definitely strip the lugs. especially if u continue to tighten it alll the way down lol (which it shouldn't but u can force it).

Oh i was told the oem lugs were to be used with only oem wheels (i have 350z base wheels) and that using tuner lugs on oem wheels is unsafe because the surface area is different (oem is rounded at the end and tuner is more triangular?) Thanks for the inof though if its liek that then ill just replace all the lugs fuck it (should i get open ended ones?), i already ordered a new oem stud, didn't feel like getting extended for now fuck spacers.

so its the lug nuts that are breaking?
There are lots of different types of lug nuts and you can buy aftermarket versions of all of them.

Your basic problem is you non-hub-centric spacer.

your 6mm spacer will be enough to prevent your wheel from sitting on the hub, so that your wheel is no longer hub-centric but now lug-centric. this causes much more stress on the lugs and lug nuts than they where designed to see on a daily basis. and with a lug-centric set up you need to be tightening your wheels in the air and not on the ground, so that they are free to center them selves as you are tightening them. This is what i have to do with my diamond racing wheels but I made a few changes to strengthen the set up, and make it more forgiving, ARP studs and wheels drilled to a 45 degree taper with matching 1" stainless steel lug nuts.

so, spend the money on hub-centric spacers or start mounting and tightening your wheels in the air and get ready to start replacing some studs along with those lugs.

Im pretty sure at my shop I have ARP extended studs. I think they're made for Camaro? but they still fit our hubs, just need different lug nuts.

Im using them for my front wheels cuz I only use slip on spacers up front

these are the camaro studs, they have a 12.93mm knurl instead of the 13mm nissan intended but the spline count matches and they still have to be pulled in with a lug nut. splparts.com sells 13mm ARP studs now, but all are 12 x 1.5 honda/toyota tread pitch.
I'm using the 2.5inch good for like 15mm on stock SE wheels, without spacers they came out about flush with the surface of the wheel. but there is also 3.5inch that would probably look crazy.

if you want a big cheap hub-centric spacer $75 a pair is pretty good.
