stroker kit

www.importperformanceparts.net sells stroker kits for the ka24de how much would you gain in hp with high compression pistons? Has anyone done it or now someone?

or just turn up the boost on your 2.4l

That would be an expensive bottom end to scatter.

I dont think the 4 cylinder displacement of 2.4l is the main problem with making power with a ka. Hp and torque gains are dependant opon other varibles in the engine, tune ect.

I wonder how much effect the longer stroke and additional weight in the bottom end will hurt the ability to make power in the upper rpms. Additional stress on bearings.

cool find but I dont see myself investing into this at all.

^ditto, the already not high revving according to sr owners, would really put a hurting on turning high rpms, also the stroke is already long enough on KA's, a bigger bore i think would make more sense. IMO

yea im all for KA's, but stroked i just dont like the idea at all. a friend of mine is stroked to a 2.6 with his KA it seems to be fine so far but im waiting to see how it is after a few events. IMO the KA has a heavy feel when driving it but i love the way it drives, the SR has a very light driving personality if that makes any sense to anyone lol.

ok ill stop talking i miss driving my KA-T and the last 240 i drove was an SR powered s14 with a precision sc61 on it :(

MY HOMEBOY GOT A 2.6 FULLY BUILT KA AND HE IS MAKING INSANE POWER BUT I JUST DON'T SEE THE POINT. jUST BUILD THE BOTTOM END AND HEAD UP AND BOOST THE FUCK OUT OF IT. sTOCKING IS A WASTE OF TIME I THINK BUT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A STROCK GO TO SPOOLUPRACING.COM THERE YOU WILL FIND THE BEST 2.6KA
