yes it is spanks on the fourm- nisyota got a 1jz in his 240 hatch, that motor is the 2.5 twin turbo out of an soarer, but the 2jz is 3.0 twinturbo the mounts are the same so for ya question YES it can and will fit in an s chassis (ANYTHING WILL FIT IN A S CHASSIS!!!!!!!!!!)

I'm currently undergoing a 7mgte in my s13.

Project status:

Drivetrain and electrical are out / Supra drivetrain and electical is being removed from donor surpa. Still gotta get electric fans and a custom driveshaft.

I think for the cost of just purchasing a 2jz-GTE(in the 5k region +trans) I would do a RB25DET or RB26DETT swap instead as it is cheaper to purchase those. Not to mention the weight distribution of the 2jz is got to be crazy.

Not raining on your parade just be realistic about it.
