Taking the Bad with the Good...

last time I was there they had a supra with a single big-turbo that looked promising..and funny enough they have about 12 Delorians parked outside...Looks like if Doc Brown owns the place.hahha

Damn...I didn't get a sticker. Haha. Justin is a good guy, always been honest and straight up with me. But yeah...I have never seen so many delorians in one place. Where abouts in swfl are you? and are there any meets around you know of/attend?

They usually tune the cars Newman imports from japan.

Importers in SWFL? I'm learning all kinds of stuff from this place :bigthumbu
Also I keep seeing this tealish looking s15 on my way home from work on saturdays, maybe he's on here?

I'm running a GT2871r .64Ar, Aem Ems v1, Aem wideband Uego, Megan Racing turbo manifold, elbow, downpipe and test pipe, Blitz Neurspec 3 1/2inch exhaust, Greddy Ls-Spec FMIC, stock intake mani, Spec clutch and flywheel, Isis Radiator and twin E-Fans, Hks actuator and internal wastegate(I know), was able to hit 14psi with the hks actuator spring alone, but at 18.5psi had to let the boost control solenoid do its job to avoid the boost creep.

Stock head and bottom end.

What kind of setup are you currently running?

ok nice. im ka-t. 550cc injectors, log manifold t3 to4e turbo a/r 84 3inch full exhaust tial waste gate, mid mount intercooler, cp piston arp head studs arp rod bolts. for now tuning on a s-afc cuz i had no time to use my other engine management cuz it wasnt working right. umm stock head an intake manifold. go check out my build thread in member rides section.

Hey FINK, I couldn't find the members rides section. Maybe I don't have access to that area yet? That or maybe my searching skills are a complete fail?

I live in lehigh , they have the regular ricer/dragracing meets on weds/saturdays in fort myers. and then some of the drift peeps (ahmed, dayron ,marco, etc.)
meet up on thursdays in the cape.
where are you?

join swflracing if youd like , they set up meets and races and whatnot..

I'm over in estero.
I went to belltower/starbucks on saturdays a few times with some buddies, but that's about its
Would like to go to some local drift sessions tho. My car isn't finished yet tho so I'd just be spectating unfortunately.

So I picked up my car this morning.
The fuel pump was hardlined to the battery with a relay and 20amp in-line fuse
The AFRs were steady at idle on my wideband
And my 1000-1100rpm idle bounce was reduced to only 60rpm bounce
Everything was in good working order, i drive it home without finding any funny business. I get home pull it in the garage and take a look under the hood to make sure evrything is in order, so I looked at the Fuel pressure gauge and see this:ugh:

Thinking either fuel pump is bad or fpr is bad, or even the gauge?

^^^Yeah, right after I got back from the shop I. Called the tuner and he said at idle it should be at 40psi.

Also, I put a new Fpr in today. I put in an genuine aeromotive regulator in instead of the one isis makes which is a knockoff of the aeromotive one. I set the fuel pressure drove it around the block and saw no drop in fuel pressure. With the old one at the same difference I saw it drop to 30psi from 40psi. So far so good, if the weather clears up I take it for a longer ride and see if anything changes.

I went for a test ride yesterday and again today and got the same results both times. Upon startup the fuel pressure was right at 40psi whee it needs to be. While driving I payed close attention to my AFRs(making sure they stay around 13.8 give or take a few points). Everything was going great at a steady cruise. So I decided to vary speed and acceleration a little more and that went great. Then went through 3rd and 4th at wot and returned to cruising speed(50mph) AFRs still great. Got home let idle, still having good AFRs. Looked at the fuel pressure and it was right around 34psi. I can't exactly account for the slight drop in pressure, but my AFRs were still right where they should be. And after everything cooled off I started her up again and the pressure sat at a steady 40psi with ample AFRs. I will continue to keep an eye on my AFRs to be on the safe side though. Thanks to all that shared thoughts and suggestions here, I greatly appreciate it :bigthumbu
