On a review from club4ag.com, i bought eibach pro kits to handle my tokico gas shocks.. however ive been told tanabe sustec springs are better... anyone went thru both types... im lookin for performance... and i know that tanabe has a better spring rate but not as low as the eibach (not by much tho).... suggestions?

tanabe is progressive spring rate so it will be soft until some wieght is put on it. Ie in corners etc etc. Honeslty they are grip springs. I would look for some rsr race springs or something else. Ive only driven s14's with tanbe gf210 and i hated them. But w.e. floats ur boat.

Just get some ground control coilovers and stay away from 'lowering' springs. With ground controls, you get a real race spring, the ability to select your own spring rates, and have corner balancing capabilities. With Ground Controls readily available in the US, it really makes NO sense to get anything else.

PLUS ONE! I had GCs on my B13 SE-R I <3'd Them! Plus you get your choice of Dampner/Strut you want to use. They are Eibach coils so $50 each you can change the spring rate In minutes!

Well the point is, you can set the ride height and spring rates to whatever you want. If you want to add stiffness down the line, it's easy. If you want your car lower/higher, that's easy too. And you don't have to worry about progressive spring rates found on 90% of aftermarket springs.
