thats correct I know most of the advanced drivers and the ones I dont know will have to prove themselfs, thats how simple it is, besides I dont think anyone who doesn't have the skill wants to even drive on the main course since as said earlier it is fast.

Not sure how sliding would be on Moroso, but on a motorcycle that track can be very technical, it's a slow track, just the fact that turn 1 going into turn 2 tightens very hard, it is a major pain the ass depending on how much speed you carry on the drag strip. These are just small factors of the track - another being the very tight S curves.
Good luck guy's and be careful cause if your not you can be going for a swim! :^)

oh my god okami is still alive... maybe youll buy another car or il let you drive my'n cuz when i couldent slide you where riping ur car up and bitching about never geting any ass cuz of it.. im looking forward to this technical track its probubbly going to be the BEST DAY IN MY LIFE......

Just got back from Moroso and finalized the date for the next practise. Ter-Tech will have both the main track for the advanced and the skidpad for the beginners (which is good for high second and some third gear if needed). The date will be on June 2nd, 2007.
Gates open at 8am and stay open till 4pm we will have two different tracks at the same time, one is set up for beginners to learn the basics and slower speed drifting at the skidpad. Second will be the back portion of the road course which is a high speed track with mainly 3rd gear turns.

We will limit the max drivers to 60 meaning 30 per track. to give more seat time to all the drivers, The road course should run fast since there is no cones to hit = no cone runners neeeded.

We are working on a deal with the insurance company to allow tandem ( no guarantees yet) of course only the ones with rollcage will be allowed to tandem.

pre reg will open May 4th at 9pm drivers are $100 (includes one mechanic). spectators are $10. Will post more details as they become available to us.

for directions to track and Track map go to http://www.morosomotorsportspark.com

For hotels or motels search in Jupiter, FL 33458 area it is close to the track.

BYAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im so in for this one!!!!!! everyone cross your fingers and pray for this one please!!!!!
my new born son will be there to cheer his daddy (ME)on!!!!!!

With the road course and the skid pad, we can forget about the fair grounds parking lot. Those who liked the parking lot can play in the skid pad and others can play on the road course.

Harri suggested that the road track will be organized in the following manner. We start at the drag strip. It's a straight up 1/4 drag run. Your trap speed is your entry speed. Feint/ebrake/pray and start that drift then and at whatever speed you are in. No brakes. All balls. :D

Im down, gradually increase speed.......................... if this goes down PUT A CONE AT THE EARLIEST ENTRY POINT OR A SERIES OF CONES AS REFERENCE DOWN THE STRAIT.
I know at 70 mph on a small road its hard to judge exact starting point with out a distinct reference.

From what I understand, the track will be run in reverse.

if reverse would be going against the normal drag strip then that's exactly where you want to be carefull, catch enough speed on the straight - slide turn 1, it's a sweeper that merges into turn 2 [this is where you should be carefull, the turn tightens] That's if the driver is able to connect turn one into two.

And now for some tasteless humor...

The only 3rd gear turns I really see are the ones on the upper right-hand of the pics. I think the river part is more the bottom left of that pic(closer to the checkered flags). It looks like a lot more fun and safer to drift the upper right part. I don't think anyone would risk any sort of chance for a car to go in the river, even one little mistake from a pro can cause that to happen. I might need another explantion about using the drag track as a starting place though.
