Good times!!!! but i have alot of extra tires  so ill be contacting some people. Other wise Tight Work!

thank you sir... i went through my tires before the sun went down. cant wait till the next one... time for some more dumpster diving

it was 2 cones setup like a figure 8 but it was pretty much a freestyle session, i guess to get acquainted with the skid pad. it was said that they were gonna switch the setup to like the one that was in the video but i wouldnt know what happened towards the end of the night ... ran out of tires.... i couldnt ask for more, or i would of been callin AAA to get my car towed back home.

The event was Tight Work man I had a blast despite having to drive at 35mph the whole way home because 2 of my lugs broke:(. Other than that I learned a lot and I had a great time out there. Thanks to everyone for giving me tips and especially big ups to Tim for bringing out the tire changer and changing tires all night for everyone.

Bladder the 3 wheel motion was epic 4 heads deep on stock E30 suspension LMAO!

I say the two cone lay out is good for while, people were strugling to do the figure eight, so i believe they are not ready for your layout. I wanted to see more close donuts and close and far donuts around the cones, at the end of the night i sat down with some of the drivers and had them do those and they were able to do the figure 8's. Thanks JC performance and drift sessions(Tim,Paul,David,Red, Jimbo, Jay) for the event, it was fun... Tim, i couldnt sleep the whole night cause i couldnt remember if you tighten up the lug nut in the FC....lol... but seen you posted this i guess you guys made it home fine.... Thanks to Red for letting me drive his car, when i called Pete(the track owner) he was really hyped up about this, he was like screaming on the phone..lmao..

^ +1 on the fig8 layout , i walked toward the drag area for some water and that scene was BLAH.... cant wait till the next one... .. need more tires

Yeah Rob thanks a lot for the help man I almost had those figure 8's at the end. A little more practice and I think I can get them

lol. 2 sets i had a new pair that within the first 3 runs looked like mohawks and then i had a pair to go home so i put the one with the most tread at back which resulted in the worst understeer possible. Thanks to Rob i was able to pull off an alright run for about 20 seconds till the fronts warmed up then BAM understeer guru appeared. but ive been to 2 countyline events and i always left countyline with the same tires i arrived in ( N.A. SOHC), soo this tire ordeal came to me as a surprise. I guess progression comes with a price. So what ever is clever.

I'm not saying its not your progression but that skidpad absolutely destroys tires! I went through 3 sets and I took like a good hour break before changing the tires up because I wanted them to last until the end

ohh yeah no question that the skidpad is a huge factor when it came to the tire ware but so is the regular track, cheese grader status :bigthumbu but its all in the name of good ol' fun. i came out of the event with the biggest head ache ever from smiling the whole time.:D

man great seeing everybody and thank you again Tim and Crew! so much fun and fundamental! night events at countyline rok!

That's truly awesome, I'm happy people now have a more consent place to practice. It's really great to see what Drift Sessions is doing for us. I wished when I started a little while back that I had a legal place to practice the basics. Oh and the track owner going crazy reminds me of the Countyline Test Day lol.

Well, just a few points to add for the people driving are the basics(throttle control, hand, eye and foot coordination, transitions, etc) are the key to drifting. The more you comprehend and practice them the faster your learning curve for drifting will be. I see many good, new drivers coming from this. I can go off on a drift rant so I'll stop now lol. All I'll say is drifting ftw and I wish I was doing it again.
