If any of you feel left out or disappointed please read.
I just want to point out that Ter-Tech was asked to host this portion of the Slide America Tour but Harri never got back in touch with them and he has issues with his car. Out of respect I made sure I called Harri and heard it from him.
He deserves to be in this documentary, and everybody that participated or helped out in any Ter-Tech event. So lets get the hatred out of the way, ungratefulness or selfishness, and pay respect to the people who has taken SFL drift scene to the level it is now and remember the people who put it on the map from the start.
Deep down I what I do for everybody in this community, and unfortunately in my position I was strictly instructed to keep the group of drifters to minimum to avoid any problems and possible disruption of the documentary. I contacted not my friends but the people I knew that would represent the region the best way. It just so happens I surround myself with these people and are my friends.
If you didn't get invited don't take it personal, its because I was only doing my part and maybe it says the community and network of SFL isn't is tight as it could be. I asked Slide America if they were doing any interviews and they weren't interested in doing that with any of us and just wanted driving footage. If they did I would of posted it up and notified everone. Believe me, I owe it to a lot of people for holding down this drifting community and lets remember you have to earn respect by giving it. Going back, lets think about those who put it down before us, like DgTrials, Harri, the Ter-Tech Family and Crew, all the founders of this forum, and Slide America for even doing this documentary. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't even of gotten the chance to gain the driving skills, the friendships, the chance to represent all that, though this video. So right now after recognizing the pioneers of this scene, lets congratulate the drivers who represented the scene. You all know who they are and you may like or you may not, as a community lets be proud that we will be featured.
If you want exposure you have to put yourself out there and network with people just as many hours you put in your car, otherwise who will know who you are. Edit:...network with the right people. You can't expect people to know and remember who you are if you don't make some kind of effort.
