Crash 1:
Scenario: 3rd drift event, the "big turn" and everyone was egging me on at hialeah
Harri: try the big turn in 3rd, don't let up, just clutch kick and try it
Me: ok...
circle half oval, lay on throttle, clutch kick, no lift, spin, eat wall from the rear, limp to pit, remove exhaust, check for cracks, try again, hesitate 2nd gear towards half oval, understeer, scrape wall with driver front fender, tasted bitter self defeat
Crash 2:
scenario: just finished rebuilding engine after blown head gasket, late at night, following harri to his home while he was driving Mina's (his wife) 5 series daily, hannu riding shotgun with me. Phone rings...
Harri: want to drift?
Me: ok?
following harri around industrial complex ive never visited, in awe of the thorough thrashing he's giving his wifes daily, start to follow suit (not tandem), see a left, drift, look one turn ahead, see a "long" straight and another left, notice harri not connect, go for the switchback anyway, nail a dumpster sitting IN THE ROAD in the opposite lane mid switch, sent dumpster 20ft back, end of the green hatch, receive new nick name "DDDD" or "D4" - dori dori the dumpster destroyer

it's very fun i like to scope an area out and plan my line before i drift anywhere. just my 2 cents.

testing out my car the night i got it done it was raining went for third gear around a huge sweeper under cut the turn and nailed a mailbox ate my bumper and fender.
dont know if it counts but the day i got my turbo mk3 supra running i went out to slide at john stretch park it about 16 miles from my house. had a fuel leak i didnt know about and shti cought on fire after second turn. torched my harness and fuel injectors and other random shit. luckly i had a fire extingisher with me.

oh damn when i was first reading ur post all i saw was the first pic n i was like wow u got pretty lucky, n then i noticed the rest of the pics, wow that sux
ive hit a couple of curbs but never any real damage other than some bent arms

I was driving to Taco Bell in the rain and with bald rear tires, after braking off a slight left turn, I spun out and hit a tree, how fast exactly I have no idea. Car was totaled, I was airlifted to Jackson, and I lost a shitton of money in the personal items that could not be retrieved from the car.
Backed into the wall at HIN Tampa.
Jlowe came up to me and said. "Your last run was one of the best of the days....too bad you entered like a huge pussy."
it was slow, only top of second. I came truckiinnnnn in and entered a lil later to have speed to shed with angle. Pulled the e-brake cause I was too high in the RPMs to clutch kick. This was the one run of the day I didnt wear my gloves. Hands were sweaty and slipped off the e-brake and as my hand slid, it clicked the lil drift button forward. Car spun 180 and I slammed into the wall.
