THinking caps please

so yeah i went to fix my car today and had no luck ... my clutch pedal has went soft so i went to change my slave and master clutch cylinder ... at first everything was fine ... slave went in and no pressure ... master went in the part that connects to the clutch did not reach ... so i compared it to the old master and found out the rod on the old one is longer .. swaped them out and bam i have pressure again .. its been a real long time since i have driven that car so i was exited ... went to take it for a spin .. no hauling ass no hard shifting at all ... got to a red light put in first went in smooth ... i let go of the clutch and nothing .. i did not move forward ... thought a caliper was stuck so my friend got out the car and pushed it .. the car rolled forward fine .. i was told it could be one of three things ... transmission went bye bye ... drive shaft went .... or diff ... checked the drive shaft and diff both were still there ... its really weird cuz the car will be on and i can put it into gear with out the clutch with no grinds or noises wat so ever ... there is no noises wat so ever coming from the car no grinds no burnt clutch smell nothing ... when u pump the master it move the slave and i still have pressure to the pedal ... could it be throw out bearing ????? please help im about light my car on fire ... i wanted to make it to the event but i dont see this happening so yeah and help would be appreciated .

p.s the car worked fine with no grinds or clutch slipping before all this ... and also worked for a hole 5 min till i got to the red light so im really stumped ... car is a 240 sx also

Does It Feel Like Its Going Completely In Gear? Or The Clutch Pressure Plate Could Be Stuck Realesed Iv Heard Of It Happening. Pull The Rubber Off The Side Of The Tranny By The Clutch Fork Arm And Look In At The Pressure Plate.

yeah it feels like its all the way in gear ... ill go take the rubber peace off and check it keep it coming please

bump ..... they also told me that the fork wears out ...any truth to this ....

Ur Throw out bearing is gone.
I recommend replacing these all together since u hav to drop the tranny anyways.
The SAME exact thing happened to me AE86 GT-S and it was that.
Id put it in gear, and nothing. Didnt move at ALL.
All ur questions will be answered once u drop the tranny.

Goodluck.

See if the slave cylinder is moving the clutch ball pivot fork to engage\release the pressure plate when you press down the clutch pedal.
