This would be f*ckin bs

Tony you don't know me or shit about me the people on hear that know me and all the shit ive been through support me through and through. Ive been through more then my fair share of shit so drop it. I grew up in one of the worst places in the U.S. I Im still alive. Thats more then i can say for 90% of my friends from high school. I have one homeboy left that made it out with me and im damn proud of that. If you lived my life you would have the same outlook as me.

yea we vote on people to represent our 'area' and they vote the way the "think" we want them to.

even pres elections are a 'per area' type of thing. like if one area has 20,000 people and you get 19,999 votes its worth about the same as an area with 1,000,000 and lloosing at only 499,999. each person gets a win, but is it REALLY even? who got more votes in total?

government in highschool was like, oh the govt is cool and does nice things.... in college you learn real shit and now i HATE the way it operates... so many loops holes and bs ways to get votes/kill bills (vol1 and 2)

/rant time for olive garden lunch

I'm not quite following you. Most of these loop holes exist to protect peoples civil liberties and rights. Sadly enough its usually the people who have taken advantage of such things and paved the way for a lot of BS we face today. As far as tallying up votes is concerned, its really not a complicated system.

I'm in Intl Bus major - the only Business major I'm aware of which is heavily involved with government and all things political. And obviously as the major implies, not just with America. I've studied Govenments in at least 30 other major countries now and I've grown to love our system more and more with everything I learn. Is ours perfect? Of course not and I'd scoff at anyone who implies anything of that nature.

I'm glad you made out and I'm sorry for your HS where 90% of its student body dies. I don't claim to know anything about you nor do I care to. Like I said, GL with Australia.

Yo....i got the perfect Idea....TonyMac for President...I will vote for you and make every single living organism that i know or related to or friends with, even animals to vote for you, just one favor, make Mary Jane legal here!! pwease!

tony are you a republican? lol

Um, if you really care, I don't believe any government has the right to tell its people what they can and can't do in their own homes or to their own bodies, as long as it doesn't affect anyone else. The republican party as a whole tends to think that's ok. I don't like big government though - something republicans are supposed to believe in. I'd like to see more power give back to the states and less central control. I think certain democrats are more socialist than anything (Hillary). Economically, I believe in capitalism to the fullest. Foreign policy - I could write for a day about that. All in all, i'm more republican than anything...maybe scratching the surface of Libertarian. I have my own brain so labeling me anything would be offensive.

I feel the exact same way, except unlike you I don't believe in this "war on terror" I have never bought into "they attack us because we are rich and free propaganda"

ill tell you tony when i take over the world, im def letting you put my gov. together.

So tony educate me what are the negatives about the japanese government and economy that make Americas superior to it? Im asking in all seriousness so i know. Thanx for the info

Honestly, if I wanted to do your question any justice, I'd have to research, type, and think waaay too much. Just look at some simple facts off the world bank website if you want general economic stats. Do some research on and pay close attention to GNI (new GNP) PPP (PPP is like a way to create common value of a countries currency). I mean the basis of their economic structure is that of a free-market (capitalism) - just like ours. As far as the government's concerned, you'll have to be more specific. Do you want to know about general structure, trade policies, their judicial system, ect? I'm guessing you're interested in trying to live there - check out the different types of visa's available and what their terms and conditions are. Really you should do a lot of this research on your own if you're truly interested. I can provide you with some links depending on how in-depth you want to go. Start with the world bank though for economic stats.

ive heard that japan is going to be in debt like in america in a couple of years, i dont know how much of that comment was truth though. I would very much like to live in other parts of the world

although if i ruled the world and everything in it, our justice system would def be consisted of vlad the impalers design...wiki it if you dont know.

Right but how can you say this country is the best when facts arent posted about others, say japan. Like i said before im trying to find info here in terms of debating, dont take my posts negatively. As far as japan being in debt like the U.S., I dont think thatll happen anytime soon. Japan makes quite a sum of money yearly. And jones do you need a team to proceed with this world domination thing cuz if so me and my buddy are sooooo down. Pm me for world domination plans. AHAHAHAHAH

Idk what you're getting at. It seems like you want me to write a dissertation comparing every facet of 2 countries only to satisfy an argument you can't even make on your own. Its entirely ridiculous to say one country is "the best" - everyone is going to have different opinions on that. What I said is as far as opportunity goes, especially as a foreigner trying to immigrate, you'd be hard pressed to find a better country than the United States of America. One guy mentioned moving to Australia - Australia and Japan both are regarded as some of the most difficult countries to immigrate into. Just look up the visa information like I said.

Some quick economic stats off the world bank
Japan:
GDP (millions) $4,533,965
GDP growth 2.6%
GNI per capita $38,950

United States of America
GDP (millions) $12,416,505
GDP growth 3.2%
GNI per capita $43,560

What do you want to know about debt? EDT/GNI?

In two or three years I'm planning on picking up all my stuff and moving to Finland. I will literally snap and kill someone here, I'm starting to get crazy road rage because AT LEAST 10 people hit me everyday and I've waved people to get off the interstate with a wrench about 5 times in the past month because they cannot drive. Whos with me on moving to Finland??
