I have a guy willing to bring a tire changer and balancer to day events, Would you guys want a tire changer at sunday big track and skid pad events.

How much would you pay, keep in mind that he will only come if its worth it for his time.

obviously the price would PER tire

i think 17 inch and under should be 5 bucks and 18 inch 10 bucks a tire is fair without balance
also you must consider aluminum vs steel wheels
or reverse mount reverse mount should be 10 bucks

it is what it is, whats really happening is your paying a convinience fee, he has a box truck with all the stuff on the back compressor and all with good machines.

i voted what i think should be fair from what you posted.. but cheaper is always better.. ?

well im linking him to the thread so he could see and decide for himself, cheaper might be better for you/us but not better for him... id rather pay a little more and have the conivnience then not have it at all.....

thats why im linking him to the thread, im not sticking my neck out ....

People are gunna want this but you have to offer it at a better price. IMO of course.

theres no point in having your drift tires balanced But im one of the smart ones that brings all their tires already mounted so i dont have to waste time waiting for tires to get mounted. But i think 10 is fair enough i dont think anyone would pay more then 10 a tire to get mounted i mean it takes 5 mins to do it. Ive mounted tires with red and jimbo a bunch of times at countyline and got nothing in return which i dont expect too its all in helping others that need it.

When we use to bring our tire changer out there we never made any real good amount of money.
Too much work for so little money thats why we don't do it anymore

What about $10 a tire and $15 for two? Or if you get 3 mounted you get one free or some shit. Just a idea. If you give a little deal in there somewhere you might get alot more people.

ive been selling tires alot at drift events recently always ten a tire. but wen i get my machine.i will be coming out to events regularly mounting for tip moneys :) its for the love of sliding..and it helps me sell my tires,i sell tires all day any size fot ten bux on CL.my buddys shop down the street duz $1/on $1/0ff 14-15 and $2.50on/$2.50 16 and up(up to 20) GOOD PRICES TO ME!! fuck a balance lol

i like this guy

i dont think enough people actually need this service to make it worth wild for the provider...how many tires is he going to change in one event? remember the majority of the peeps are prepared before the event and have their tires already mounted...its only a select few actually will make good use of this service.

i dis agree alof of places dont just mount tires. like if u have the tire and u need it mounted theyll either give u a super rediculus price or tell u to buy a new tire, so i think this could help out alot of ppl

yo, 10 a tire is wack bro.
$5 a tire sounds about right.
You can either claim to want to help the scene and help kids out and mount tires, or you can claim to help the scene and try to make money. Its honestly your choice.
If you're out to make money off kids that can barley pay for event and climb through used tire piles to get tires, you're a scum sucking fuck.

Most doods at events bring junky high sidewall 15's and 16's and those are the easiest shit ever.
if its a stretched 17+ with a lil sidewall, id say maybe charge 10.

And this is why the drift scene in florida is so wack.

In case people have no reading comprehension, i am not gaining / benefiting / profiting from this in anyway...

Let me sum it up
A. Its not me that is doing the mounting
B. I could really give a fuck
C. I have my own shit ready before events
D. I sought it out because i was tired of hearing other people cry asking for a tire changer
E. If your so worthless you cant afford to mount tires, find another sport to be involved in
F. Im gonna keep my mouth shut to not make any more enemies

in either case i voted for me being gay, ill foward this link to the guy who wanted to do it, and its his choice from there on out

That's you let people struggle let them do there own shit. If you give to them for $5 bucks they will still cry.

any 1 person who does any other track event outside of an autox and countyline knows your gunna pay for a service like this .ive always gladly paid 10 a tire not having a tire changer is ok if your running a 240 with junk steelies and crap tires (where its easy to come by steelies and 14 inch tires) however those of us who are running 18-19 inch wheels and low profile tires cant always afford to have multiple sets of wheels .
i have three sets of wheels for my z and still require a tire changer
1 i dont drift on my 19s often
2 my rays wheels are for track events
3 i have 1 set for ruff wheels are for drifting

i love doing countyline but frankly i dont have time to go to a tire shop and dismount and mount atleast 6 tires (because countyline eats tires) i guess i wont attend another event ill have to stick to ter-tech and track days

agreed...this sideways burnout thing aint cheap, but you gotta do what you gotta do. im ok with a tire changer at the track only because that means i dont have to rush around before an event to swap tires. but since tim hasent brought the changer out in a long time we all had to make sure we were straight before track day. maybe because i have like 46 and 1/3 HP but i dont go through tires as much as the next guy. but i voted for 10 a tire because i believe thats what tim used to charge. either way imma be at the track so it really dont matter to me
