I lived on my own for over ten years big deal i live with my parents now. I wish i never moved out and spent the money traveling the world but too late for that......oh wait no its not i live with them again.

Acutally, I think people do want to buy parts from me, because I do realize that drifting is not the basis of ones life. Its common sense. It wont get you very far. Sure its fun, but frankly, I dont even see why this thread is here, I just stated that I dont do it anymore, and you get butthurt. sorry.

Drifting is Life for somepeople. and a very good life for some also. I just can't stand that because it's becoming popular as a spectator event instead of an underground culture you act like it hhhmmmm how did you say it "Drifting is getting Homo". well before you had a few guys that were ok and lots of posers. Now you have a shit load of guys that are awesome, Rick, Kyle, Night monkeys, SMDG, Ter-tech, Ryan, David, Jaun, Erick and others that are way above the norm in skills. And the skills are trickling down to help out the beginners. i love street drifting and will always love it. But real tracks instead of ovals is fucking awesome. Yeah i shouldnt have been lazy and changed you name when i posted that which was rude of me. I'm sorry about that. I didnt mean to call you out like that. Drifting will always be cool for one reason. when people really suck cause they don't have what it takes they usually give up on it. its not like you have 900 cars lined up for an event and they are all just okay. Its not a hobby just anybody can go out and do well.
If you really wanna get into the whole "elistist" talk about teh hardcore autoXers. The same goes for the general mentality of Florida Drifting.
I cant fucking stand drifting in the US. It has turned into a huge pissing match here. Its all "raawr I have the biggest dick anyone smaller than my huge girth monster can fuck a duck with a tonka truck. You cant talk to me you have 15in wheels. Your car is a joke because it doesnt meet my offset standards. OMG you have a kit that was made in 02......thats so played out you are a embarrasment, Why are you sliding with a VLSD, only people with 2ways can stand mext to me in the pits"
I can go on forever......really. Log on to Florida Fail, Floridadrift, ziptied, and zilvia if you dont understand what im talking about.
Drifting to me is awsome. It will always be awsome, but I really cant stand 93% of the drift community. Its more of a hassle than anything nowadays. I probably was importing Option2 VHS tapes long before anyone knew what drifting was here.
I will still continue to slide on my off time. But as of right now, grip will be my main source of seat time.

This sport has come out ot be more pricks tha anything.....Thsi sport was one of the best ones I got into becuase everyone will help eaxh otehr and not put anyone down like they do in car shows or autox's.....Now this psort has turned into Hater'ss Squadd. I am hoping none of you guys here are also on Florida Street Scene becuase that' is where all this bads shit is at and it's contagious!!!! ANyways in defense of Igor, he is a pretty cool guy mt et him once and he didn't even think twice about askign me if I wanted a ride along.....I said Hi to him and without even introducing myself he was all ready askingg me...Now how many people out there will do that? I can only pick a select few........
there is more unity and support in the florida drift scene right now than ever b4, everyone quit bitching and have fun.

fact: 99% of the really REALLY good drivers i have talked to were more down to earth and nicer than i imagined, so the prick elitest can suck a nut.
more publicity = more sponsors = more events = more seat time = better drivers.

ppl who arent committed to drifting dont last long in the scene. they will crash or give up or both.

I just want to know who is gonna help my ass out once I get my new 240sx running. I drag race my altima ON TRACK , BUT NEVER HAVE DRIFT BEFORE. I have played around on the roads , but that's it.

... if your freindly they'll just be like, yo, try doing this or fix this about your car, and it will help with this...etc...when your car is done, do an event, ask for help. like i said, most of the ppl who know what they are doing are nice as hell...
