word... same thing happened to me, but not with my drift car, i had a 1/8 buggy, and was gunna sell it for a drift car then thought about real drifting and left rc cars behind!
 
not sure if this comes off as a stupid question but doing you think getting and rc drift could help you when you drift a real car? just asking lol

not really haha. but if it floats your boat.
but what will help is if you grab gt5p or forza and practice for countless hours yes, absolutely. im a big advocate of simulation driving and it actually teaching you a great deal, especially with the improvements in physics modeling.

unless your as cool as flyinFinn and your born knowing everything yes it could help in some way even tho its a night and day difference from an R/C to a real car it does give you a pretty good understanding about following the right line in order to link a track worked for me but everyones different either way its a fun hobby
 
so awesome. I have an rc car that was given to me 4wd, ordered the pvc drift tires. LOTS of fun. I went to some hobby place down the road from Tower shops, and the jerk-offs in there kept telling me next week, next week for my 180sx body, eventually i gave up and then they closed down. I know it was hard to find as many places i saw were back ordered...If i find one eventually i would like to play around again. :bigthumbu

not as much as befor since im doing it with my actual car now and my drift car got stolen but sometimes if there are some competitions or some little drift meets i go n slide around my friends extra car i came out in one of those R/C car mags when we had the guy come out to watch a drift battle my car was in every damn pic and i only got second place lol
 
i havent found where to rc drift without being complain if i crash against another car lol
 
i can see the appeal to this if you plow your real car into a wall and cant satisfy that drifting itch. :)
