Im trying to decide which tires I should buy for my car. NOT for drift or Auto X just daily.

The size is going to be 225/50/16
Im trying to decide between: Falken Azenis St115 and Toyo Proxes 4.

What are your opinions? Also is there a better tire you would recomend? I need a good amount of life out of them. Thanks

BTW My wheels are 16x7.5. Should I go with 225/50 or should I got with a smaller size?

Quite honestly for a daily you dont really need such a big tire. My suggestion would be 205/50/16s... especially on a 7.5 wheel. (225s would be nice on an 8" wheel)

Anyhow, I drove Falkens before and I have mixed reviews.... but for satisfactory grip (perfect for daily) and ever lasting tread: Falken Ziex ZE-512.

hey zak in jenny's car we are running the azenis st 115, they are great bro, we had them for over a year now, rather quiet, and they are great in the rain, we are running 225/50/16 in the stock SE rims, get the azenis you will not regret it, get them from Edge they had them.

hey the Hankook Ventus Hrii H405 are spose to be better than the Falkens and they are like 20$ cheaper and more grippier

AZENIS are sexier look at their name

SEXY.

Thats it Dan you lost your argument.

205/55/16s run the stock tire size for dialy no reason to upgrade, you can slip by running 205/50/16 on S13s but S14 they look retarded plus lower the gearing not good for dialy IMO. Also go with Toyo's ytea i hate Falken but theres no reason to go with azenis.

Hankook RS2 best tire period. lasts under bimmer more than twice the amount of any other tire. Anthony has been driving them on the street for long time and went thru the Atlanta drift event on the same tires never changed them, still driving on the same set. Kuhmo MX sucks. Falken ST115 is also a good tire.

Thanks a lot guys. The Rs2 do rock but 200 tread wear is to low for me. I bought the Zeix 512s. Price matched Edge @ Sears got it all for under $250 installed! w00t!

O ya I got the 225/50/16 they are the same overall diameter as the OEM 205/55/16. And they ride so nice.
