Tranny swap problem

I just finish the tranny swap in my kouki 1997 (from auto to manual) the donor car was a 1995, everything when smooth just some fight to get the tranny on place but went in ok.
The clutch: ACT heavy duty pressure plate pn#N-018, and Performance street disc P/N NSD035S, remove the auto pilot converter and put the right pilot bushing (all the way in), and install the bearing in the sleeve and lock in with the leveler clip.
I use the manual rear plate, manual fly wheel with bolts.
But when I install the slave clutch cylinder I realize that the leveler that pushes the bearing is too far away, so when I press the clutch the push rod travel almost all the way just to touch the leveler (has like 1 inch of free play).
Before taking everything off, there is any idea of what is the problem?, This is my first swap and I just use the fsm.

I think you might have put the spring (its looks more like a clip) in for that "lever" in wrong. You should be able to see it through the little hole on the side of the bellhousing where the other end of it is. If I confused you more I'm sorry...my fsm has been missing for a while otherwise I'd show you what I mean. :(

i think the probelm is the bearing & sleeve, maybe we knock it off the leveler while lifting the tranny?(cant tell bc my friend was lifting that side)

it prolly was that i did a shit load of theses swaps and it wasnt untill i did it with the owner ( a fucking idiot) was around and started touching shit when i wasnt looking and he knoked one side loose and it was off like the way you described + did u change the pilot bearing in some cases if the tranny had enough play when not installed makes a nasty sound that sound like its grinding but its not its just vibrating so bad it knocks aroung the shaft making that noise

i just took the tranny off and cant find the problem

Have you checked your clutch pedel height? There is an adjusting lock nut on the back of your clutch pedel that controls how far the piston is pushed into the clutch master cylinder. Loosen the nut and spin the rod 2 times and see if your clutch engages higher on the pedel.

you have the s14 throw out bearing right ?
yes
-I called ACT to check if i have the right parts, ok,they said that their clutch works a lil closer to the floor
-everything is as it shoud be inside the bell housing.

1.Does any1 knows what is the max free play between the salve cylinder and the throw leveler?,how much you can push with your hand before get real resistance
2.how much it travels after that resistance is felt to make the cluch engage?
3.Can i remove the bleeding pipe w/out problems?

It might be the little spot where the slave cylinder attaches to the pedal. You can make it longer or shorter.

I think it should be right up to the throw lever.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE FUC**** BEEDING PIPE WAS BENDED AND KEEP THE AIR NO MATTER HOW MUCH I BLEED IT,
I just bend it back and everithing is fine now.... cant belive, that stupid detail cost me a week to figure it out.
