Turbo on a stock ka

Ok so I wanna know what I can use with out a after market ecu and not blowing the motor. can u use sr injectors and small turbo and get away with it stock ecu? Or what do i need to run it safe. I have a 60-1 turbo but on 8 pounds that thing gets crazy. Please lmk Asap thanks

This is like, the most awesome setup I have heard of.

Find yourself a stock SR ECU and wiring harness. You have to do something with the CAS but I dont rembmer. Put on stock sr injectors, maf and t25 turbo. You'll basically have a stock computered KA-T.

If your serious find me the write up on Zilvia/nicoclub and I'd greatly appreciate it :)

I never actually saw the writeup, my buddy AK just told me about a couple doods doing it. I'll holler at him and see if he can find it.

dont think it was som uch of a write up as it was like yo look what i did
it was on zt and tampa racing i think
ill try and find it but its pretty simple
just kinda plop sr shit on and ride out
haha, thats what he said. I remember him going on about it, and we were about to do it, and I just said fuck it and went LS1.

im running a sr ecu on my ka.. no problem. use HITACHI coil packs though i've used denso and ls1 coils and they dont work right only hitachi seem to fire good with stock ignitor/ecu

you can get hitachi coils in most subarus and isuzus
i think thats like if you want them actually in the valve cover
if not just use stock SR ones and run jumper wires

and then you just plop the sr CAS wheel into the ka distributor
and ride
.

YouTube - 30PSI on a KA with Stock Internals.

Crap seems like Alot of work. Sucks that no one in Miami knows how to tune a freaking calum sult stand alone !!!!

But seriously, 550ccs, z32 maf, disco potato and a proper tuned ecu. If your gonna do it, do it right.

^i just bought a used enthalpy ecu for 550s and z32 thats maf based for any boost level

if you have a wide band and software ill tune it for you.

this video gives me hope

:D Vas I have the wide band but I have the lightning maf and 760cc injectors witch originally was for my old setup is this to much for my stock motor? Where are u located by ? I would be great if u gave it a try

Do it right. Cometic head gasket, arp hardware, z32 maf, at least 470cc inj, and a chilling piggy back. Like this you will last my first 240 was a kouki with this ^ I never had a problem.

what kind of turbo are you running? where are you located? what tuning software are you using?

i believe nistune has templates for a lightning maf and 740s, so all id be doing is applying that tou your stock tune and dialing in wot and cruise based on the wideband.. these old cars are pretty caveman to tune.

after that, ill just flip some switches for you for top speed limiter, rev limits and other things of that nature. id do it for free too if you are local and already have software. PM me.
