theres nothing in the philippines that usa wants so thats why.

you'd be surprised. the funding aid that comes from private hands in the usa is much much greater than government. this is the most generous country in the world by far..

^exactly, alot of countries have benefitted from the USA. I just dont think that other countries ever pay us back.

My cousin says that everything is just fine.
True that it was a hard, and many people died, but everyone is also helping one another. As it always has, as it will always be. Just out the below story.

Filipino Man Loses Own Life After Saving Dozens From Floods

The neighbors are cleaning the biggest home, and haboring the neighbors, and one by one they will continue down the road.

It's good to send funds, and provide assistance, but their goverment has addressed the issue and they are doing their best to help their own people.
Associations such as Filipino-American (Fil-Am), is doing their part in sending help and donations. I know a lot of west coast Filipinos have raised awarness and are doing their best. I think the US Media feels that a nation that is doing fine by it's self isn't good enough news to broadcast.

that will never be true. most of the money comes from private entities, people, companies, corps etc who give as donations. They also support in manpower and those who can even take their planes, helicopters, cars/trucks etc etc

as for gov, their involvement is humongous too, obvious and well advertised.
