So I overnighted a cashiers check to this guy for 100 dollars for a PSP he was selling. Last I heard from him is that he was shipping the item on the 18th. Here it is the 28th and I haven't heard from that piece of **** since the 18th. His PM box is full, hasn't gottem online since he sold it to me. He doesn't pick up his phone, and hasn't been on AIM since he ripped me off. I want to break this guys neck. If any of you guys in the Miami area can help a fellow board member out and go over there and see why he likes to steal peoples money I will kick a little bit in for you. I want my money or the mint condition PSP I was promised.

What pisses me off the most is that I told him I'd send a cashiers check that way he would know the money is garunteed and he was like "Don't worry man, I trust you. Guess that's what I get for ****ing trusting people. Here's all his info:

You have the reciept of the MO. Call Metro Dade County Police. tell them what happened. You have the guys phone number and address. I am sure a nice detective will drive by and arrest him for fraud. Also this can be considered mail fraud as well. This is a close nit forum so somebody here problaby knows him.
 
Yeah, I kept the reciept of the cashiers check. I also work for Bank of America, the bank which the check was written off of. This was a big mistake for him to do. Wrong guy, I'm way too motivated to let 100 slide out of my hand. It's gonna cost me more than that to drive down there, but at this point I just don't care. Just seeing if someone can help me out before I drive down there. I'll give what I'll pay in gas + some more if someone can slide by a resolve this for me. If anyone feels nice then PM me and I'll give you my phone number so you can get in touch with me if needed.

He is in North Carolina with his g/f for 2 weeks. He'll be back. He has the PSP in mint condition and he really needs this money. He's not ripping you off it's just a mistake.

Is it normal for someone just to dip out and not clal someone or try to email to let them know what's up??? To me it's not. Why can't he return phone calls?

I dont return phone calls because my phone speaker dosent always work, I cant hear a damn thing in the car, and I work in a loud fabrication shop. I normally get home around 8pm then im either tearing my car apart for 4 hours and cant be botherd, or i just forget to call the person back.


10 days is a while when you sent out money, but i would have given in an extra 4 days to make it an even 2 weeks before slander in a public place. It was only a 100$.
 
Rick just feels that he is too good for the rest of us. it was his responsability to send it when he said he was going to and without any effort to info of the situation there is good cause for the rapid slandering. things like this should never be put off.
 
Ok, first of all...

I havent, nor intend to rip anyone off. I appologize for taking so long to ship you the psp. It was my responsibility in doing so and you have all the right to be upset. It slipped my mind with all the things goin on in my life at the moment again, I appologize.

Im still in North Carolina and i havent had any internet access till right now. My cell phone is a metro and it doesnt work up here. Not that it justify's my act but, its the honest truth. I shall be home around tuesday and will ship it out asap.

i say he does what i would do for screwing up and throw in something nice like a screen cover or something to make the issue forgetable.
 
Hopefully when he returns to town this gets all squared away. I'm not the type of guy to rip and flame someone in a public forum, but after I had waited so long with no contact I had to try and get the situation rectified. Trust me when I say I didn't want it to get to this level. I'm only hoping that at this point I can have a good ending to this.
