Pancho isn't white. but yea uh yea i don't think the unlocking of your thread is going to happen... even though i agree with you that rap music now a days is auto tune rubbish. they arent artist they are "money makers", only out there to make another buck by chattering nothingness that has already been said before.

Sean, I would unlock your thread if I were the locker and while I do posses the power to do so, I don't want to undermine the section mods' decision unless its explicitly warranted. I'd rather leave decisions like that to the site admins since they are the ones who granted them the power in the first place. I'm betting chuck feels similarly.

My opinion on the scenario (and you know I'm gonna give my opinion haha) however is that yes, we should be able to discuss these kinds of sensitive issues. As someone who's rocked the boat more than a few times with political, social, economic, and racial issues; I agree with you completely, but with a strong emphasis on the word should...and well beyond the spectrum of this forum at that. Simply put, people are too sensitive and strong minded. Its a discussion that will only stir up emotions and will ultimately end with no resolve (and a much more warranted thread lock). Fuck Kanye West (FKW?).

Agreed. Rap is ridiculous.

Organized sports is beyond my comprehension. It's so big and EVERYONE watches that shit. They're just fucking games. You can play them yourselves. There's nothing that can justify paying a person millions of dollars to play a fucking game. It's gotten so out of hand.

OK where do I start, yes the first amendment does protect your freedom of speech, but also remember there is something called censorship. I stopped the thread because it was going places we did not need it to go. Instead of deleting individual posts I thought it was beneficial to the forum if we just put an end to the entire thread. Last thing we need is an argument between black’s and white’s which in the very first 5-10 posts gave a pretty good idea where this thread was heading. I am not saying Rap music is great I’m not too fond of it my self but this became a racial thing quick and we do not need that kind of attention here. If you feel my closing of the thread is really that big of a deal contact Ben he has the key to the whole forum and can do what he pleases with it. I stand behind my decision of locking your thread and will speak with you Via PM if you have anything else you would like to say to me.
