Event was awesome. Very well organized and so fun overall. I was in the pits but I noticed a lot of people standing along of the fence. More bleachers maybe..

Hope there will be more like this :bigthumbu

i left an hour into after being frustrated, but when i first got there i immediately heard people complaining about the walk from the parking garage. when i got into the event i started looking for places to sit to only be disappointed by one set of bleachers. i then started looking for the pits to only find that they were on the opposite side of the track and had appeared to only be accessible to people with wristbands, or passes. i was already frustrated by this point so i didnt try to get into the pits and left shortly after

The judging needs improvement along with what others had already said. Needs a bit more organization from what i saw and also a wall along the side where the parking curbs are. Other than those few easily fixable items i had a blast and cant wait for more!

yea I would have to agree we did try for a stunt show but all we found was just kids wanting to mess around and it would of been a liability.

We are sorry for you personal experience. As for parking there is really nothing we can do about that at that venue. Its like when you go to a football or baseball game u do have to walk to the event. I was not impressed with the "grandstands" my self and that is deff something we can do something about. As for the pit passes its extremely hard to get insurance that covers everyone in the pits. The pits are considered to be a high risk area and the general public is not allowed. Passes were handed out to all caged drivers and were available for purchase the day of or discounted pre-sale.This event is not a racetrack and its a very hard and long process to make something like this happen. Not to mention expensive. Once again we are sorry you didnt enjoy yourself.

Can u explain more on judging? I was mad at the call knocking out harri but Will did an awesome job and harri did hit a clipping point.
also more on organization?

Well whether you agree or not with the judging, it was on point the problem we had was. It should have been explained better at the drivers meeting. Having to much talking on the radios, telling us that the crowd wants a one more time. Hitting a clip out of it's zone was considered a zero, so if a car hit a clip and then the other car spun after. The win goes to the car that spun because the other car zeroed his run first because he hit the clip. Other wise you get bad calls like what happened to Boxmod awhile back. If a car zeros his run out first the other driver is not expected to finish his run he already won.The judges had the best viewing for the runs. I know a lot of the spectators wanted one more times but if we left the judging to the spectators it wouldn't be ever fair. What we should do is have the announcer explain what the judges are looking for. The judging system that Will and I have been working on just needs to be tweaked a little. Of course with bens help I know we will have a solid and easy judging system that will have less bad calls than FD or other events. We see the bugs and feel we have them worked out. Hope this helps explain it.

I think the judges made very consistent calls the entire competition and did an excellent job. Where USDC failed was going further to explain the judging impact of hitting the clips in the tandem portion of the competition. Everyone understood the zero for qualifying, but not why it was weighted so heavily in tandem.

Tim and Chris have addressed the other feedback so I won't repeat, but thank you to everyone who has replied. We will do our best to address your concerns as much as possible.... but understand that some of these requests may or may not be within our control depending on the venue and insurance.

Myself along with a few of the drivers liked the layout of the spectators area, track, and pits. Pits should be isolated away from the crowd. Dont have to worry about things going missing or people crowding the area and getting in the way. I think overall it went pretty well. I didnt leave the pit area very much so I cant say anything about the spectator side, but it looked pretty organized. Only thing I can say should be worked on would be the gates. I heard a few people talking about how noone was watching the gate at times and some people were getting in and spectating for free. So maybe some profits were lost there, but other than that and the grandstands, nothing really to complain about. Pretty awesome local event :bigthumbu

I was iffy about the last two clips until I drove the track then got used to it quick. Left the track to go mount tires and the clips were re positioned. Either way I loved the course. Wish I didn't suck so bad.

And yes the part where nobody was watching the gates at the pits was crazy. I figured the security from the casino would be more strict. Maybe that ahole cop that have me a ticket Friday night should have been standing guard.

maybe an explanation on scores. i watched everyones qualifying run and saw some people who didnt match up to their scores.

also, who where the 3 judges?

i vote bladder, guillermo, noel for next event.

Only thing I have to say to get more bleachers, and I don't agree with the rule of tapping a clipping point results in a zero. If you tap a clipping point and it does not fall over you are a boss.

Yeah. I feel as though just nudging a clip and leaving it still standing and in the same place, should be the same as being within a foot of it and result in a perfect score on that clip.

BUT, it was told before qualifying that if a clip was bumped, you got a deduction, and if knocked over, a zero. So at that point, we all knew what was going on and should have driven accordingly.
