redbull is one company you do not want to ruin a relationship with. plus it would have been nice to have an energy drink company out there handing out free drinks.

We have been trying to get an energy drink to sponsor the event for 2 months. They would never reply. We would talk to them and they say they were interested but just brushed us off. We offered them free advertising in return for some of there promotional stuff to help the event but nothing came of. Also Nos gave a 100% guarantee they would set their nos banners and blow up nos sign for the start line but they texted rich the morning of the event sorry we wont be there.
So we didn't f up they did.

So why should we let them come in and advertise? All the other vendors had to pay why should they get to enter free and not contribute? If they can't at least give us driver swag or send out there D.J. rig to help the event then we don't want them to be involved. Having Red Bull girls walking around doesn't help the event.
And I was the one that made that call. I saw the Red Bull truck pulling around and called the gate and told them not to let them in.

Thats a very good point...
im sure redbull doesnt need the advertisement. free redbull is more of a charity now

Be angry at NOS energy then. They committed to having a setup and giving away drinks only to return my call the morning of asking where they were with a text saying they won't be coming.

FYI just to confirm. When harri hit the clipping point it did come out of the area. Resulting in a 0. All day we checked when someone hit a clipping point if it was in or out of the circle. Both in solo and tandem runs.
As a spectator your looking at a run and going based off advantage. As a judge it takes a bit more detail before you declare who won that run.
Will did a great job, along with his dad, and giacomo.
As for me, will, and noel when we judged solo, we were extremely unbiased and fair.
Some people seemed to be mad at their score, those same people were 7 feet away from the clipping zones. It does not matter if you "linked" the course. Anyone can link a course without hitting the clipping zones. Thats why they are there.
Overall great event I think, tons of seat time for a competition style event. Cant wait for the next one.
