Transmission is a T5 from a 2.8 Camaro.

Were gonna have to widen the tunnel a bit and the original box steering had to go to fit the motor. Were going to use an S13 rack with a custom column. Also the brake system on the 2002 is very interesting. The pedal box is floor mounted so the brake rod is a pull type, which then cantilevers into the booster to become a push type. I think we might mount the booster in the back seat using the pull linkage. Overall the project is off to a smooth start though. Motor fits fairly well for such a small car, it's pretty light too, and we already have a bolt-up transmission (this frustrates me to no end considering my transmission adapter fiasco on my own car).

Cheers,
Sean

I always wanted to swap that engine into something Good choice bro. I thin you probably know the history on that engine right? :D

Heh, believe it or not, I don't like V8's .....

My favorite engines are the Inline 6, then V12's, then boxers and I4's. Just so happened that the engine was available at a price that couldnt be turned down. Plus an inline 6 doesnt fit or make sense in this car (way too long and heavy).

Same story on my car, I got my motor cheaper than any SR20 swap sells for and as much as I like RB's, I would only do it by pushing the engine way back in an S-chassis, and just so happens that's illegal for new Formula D anyway. But yes, this project will be fun.

And yea I know the history of the Aurora engine. While it's a great engine though, the Indy use hardly relates to the street engine. Same goes for my Infiniti V8 in the S13.

Thanks for the comments.
