Video editing pogram

Hey guys whats up, Well like the title say im looking for a decent video editing program thats easy to use. I have windows movie maker (dont we all) and Im pretty decent with it but the file formats my current camera's use (.mov and H264 .avi) are incompatible with WMM sowent and looked online and ofcourse there are hundreds of programs and im really not sure whats going to work well and still be easy to use.


I mean im willing to buy a decent one its not like im looking for free but im not looking for adobe like expensive either.

+1 i'm looking for a good video editor too
 
im going to try out this sony vegas program and see if I like it, thanks for the suggestion zack
 
vegas is alright but its kinda limited im a video student and we use adobe but its complicated i have magix which is cheap and pretty simple, plus it comes with lots of effects. pm ii you have more questions

i actually have a copy if you want it

hmmm what company makes it? I dled a trial of vegas I havent tried it out yet though. I'll see if I can get a trial of that magix program.
