video of the POS in action!

haha my name is anthony too

whats funny is the day after this started happening, i was just driving it and im like "i wonder if its my maf?" and im just like nah i doubt it and kept thinking about a bunch of other shit it could be lol

but im gonna try to pick up a maf tommarow and see what happens

it would make sense that its the maf because when he unplugged it the car idled smoothley and with it plugged in it kept wanting to dye out somtimes

anyways thanks to everyone that helped out, ill update when i get the new maf

maf didnt fix it
tryed switching the ecu's and that didnt fix it either
all the injectors seem fine
the spark plugs and wires are fine

im guessing its a harness thats frayed or somthing cause some wire harness (idk which one it is) seems pretty messed up, but idk

it progerssivley got worse and worse with being able to stay on, and then today on my way leaving the guys house who i bought the maf and ecu from, my car died out and wouldnt start back up at all, and when it did, no matter how much gas i gave it, it would die out as soon as i would move it

sooo... my friend towed it to the shop with his jeep and were gonna see what they say

i honestly dont even know what to do with my car at this point

thank you to the few who helped me out, i really appreciate it
im still gonna do what i can to get this thing on the road for good because its been 6 or 7 months now and i cant take this shit seeing as its my daily

ill let you guys know what it was if they fix it

If unplugging the Maf made it idle right and rev up to 2.5k then my guess is you maf wires are shorting out somewhere along your harness! I am going to check and see, I might still have an s14 harness laying around, I think its missing one or two connectors but if I find it you can have it....I'll give you a call tomorrow anthony pm me your number again

numbers 561-866-5241

bill ill bring it buy and pay as long as you can diagnose for sure what the problem is, only thing is its stuck at another shop and hte car wont start

when it does start, no matter what i do i cant get it to stay started and drive it (like said earlyer, this issue is progressivley getting worse and worse)

get some cheap wires and just lay some fresh connections to the ecu to see if that fixes the problem.

I still think this could be a grounding issue though. I have seen enough people do swaps and neglect to connect enough grounds which causes crazy/weird/intermittent electrical problems.

we checked the grounds and they are fine

its at the shop getting fixed now so ill let everyone know what the problem was

and if they cant figure it out ill probably bring it to bill lol
