vlsd internals help

i have a s14 kouki and i got a vlsd out of a nissan gloria looks the same but im not sure about the half shafts, i need to swap the internals because the actual gear ratio is 47/15 about 3.1:1, so:
this half shafts are the same as the stock s14?
what is gear ratio?
any precautions to the assemble proces?
where is the "c" clip located in the long half shaft?

im not sure, dose the gloria use the same r200v differential as the 240sx? assembling a differential is not for everyone. Im not even 1000% sure that i know everything about it. I would have a mechanic assemble it or someone who really knows what they are doing.

providing it is the same r200(v) differential you would retain the ring and pinion from the 240sx to keep your shorter 4.096:1 ratio.

If you switch to stock 240 ring and pinion and it works. Then I would like to buy the ring and pinion from the gloria diff from you. I want long gears.
