VLSD too long? Wtf?

So we're trying to get rid of my welded dif and put the VLSD in but the driveshaft has to be cut back like...an inch. Wtf?
 
Ugh damnit. Alright. Im too tired of carrying that VLSD around. 81 pounds gets heavy really quick. Im just gonna have Josh help me out over the weekend.
 
Hmmm after some research ive found out that it might be the J30 VLSD was for ABS equiped vehicle and my car is non abs meaning that the driveshaft is .55'' too long....anyway i can beat the damn thing in there if this is true? Otherwise...how much will one of you guys sell me an abs driveshaft for?
 
damn bro that diff came str8 off my blue s chasis i had.dan even helped put it in and it bolted in just fine and drifted just as good

The blue one had no ABS right? If it didnt then thats good enough for me and Ill attempt to go at it.
 
just bench press that beeatch into place. lock the front on the swaybar. and the top bolts. so u can rest a lil. then push it into place (rear 4 lugs)
and bolt the two huge bolts on the front. then just wiggle the drive hsaft in place and bolt everything in.

then SKID SKID SKID ur way out.....niguhhhh
