wandering steering?

jack up front of car and manually attempt to turn the wheels/wiggle them, if you hear any clicking/tapping, you have bad suspension parts. the left and right wheels should move together/in a clean fashion. if one wheels has play, see where the play is.

that, and what miami says, all tires are different. try rotating your tires(F>R) and see if there's a difference in this. i rode home with timmy from skid pad and had the steering wheel cocked 90 degrees to a side because my right tire diameter was less than my driver side.

no shit, and my tires are the same...........

yessir, all around im using 215/45/17, the fronts use the same brand tire , but the rears are diffent

this right here.

now quit being a lazy bitch and go do your own fucking work, aka inspect your own damn car instead of posting about how ignorant you are and how little you want to do to fix it.

turn the wheel as i said and find the noise. </thread>

only way to find out is either check all your arms bearingsbushings etc.or take it to a shop and pay them to figure it out. cause we can all say its a million things but we wont no unless we have the car infront of us.

Do you have the alignment print out? do you know what each wheel set to?
Anytime you lower a car you'll get bump steer but it the bump steer could be worse because of the alignment is off

this video shows how the tie rod effects the steering when suspension travels up and down

can be fixed with a kit like this one

i see, but i dont think its my problem tho, like wen i hit a bump or simply driving in a strait line on a smooth road, my front end will shift over

well im sure the whole subframe isnt shifting side to side.
you're only gonna find out what it is by physically going out and checking the car out yourself.

just an update , i just ordered front lower control arm and ball joint combo, ball joint is already pressed in so replacement should be cake, once i replace them ill hit the alignment shop, and hopefully this thread will be helpfull to other people with this wandering shit:bigthumbu
