wastegate hook up

ok so i have heard different ways of hooking up a wastegate, as of right now mine is hooked up from a nipple on the hot pipe. i wanna install a MBC and every pic i seen shows the MBC hooked up with a line from the turbo to the boost controller to the wastegate. is this the best way to set it up for can i run it from the hot pipe nipple i have already?

if youve seen it in every picure why ask. a mbc is just a restriction in the line. yes you go from compressor housing to mbc to wastegate. its gonna give the best control instead of a nipple in the piping
