When you can outdrive what you have now, then you modify.

i see your point, but...POLE-POSITION said:open dif to learn drifting is the stupidest thing ive ever heard.....do you thing the D1 drivers bought S13 and order the USDM dif just to learn faster.

when my vlsd gave out and i was drifting open diff i learned more about weight transfer/momentum/inertia all that good stuff in 2 days than i had in over a year, i had to either toss the car and use the handbrake or shift lock to initiate, gave me a waayyy better 'feel for the car' than just clutch kicking every single corner did...
but to answer the kids question, and beat a dead horse...suspension, suspension, suspension.
yes, i agree with you 100%.POLE-POSITION said:well then everbody should swap a 13b in thier cars so you learn more about momentum then being able to use torque. i have lsd and clutch kicking is the last thing i do initiate a drift. its all about being willing to initiate the correct way for the correct turn instead of being stuck on the clutch kicking shit. you can still learn the correct ways to do it but having an lsd means you will also get to learn how to hold it.
