alright some werid shyt just happened and i dunno what it could be... when i push in the clutch pedal it sounds like hmmm... when u dont have power steering fluid and it makes that noise.... just like it but i check the fluid on the clutch master and everythin is fine... it shifts and everythin just makes the noise when i press the clutch and when its in gear... what it could be? its late and i am stumped anyone can help? its a 89 s13 with a single cam motor...

Yea bro. If it is squealing like the P/S fluid is low when you press the clutch, most likely your throw out bearing is about to go. My throw out bearing began to squeal like that and 2 miles down the road I had no clutch =( I was 2 blocks away from my job too...

The noise is going to continually get worse and will also become harder to shift gears until the bearing fails. You will have to replace the bearing soon. But if you are going to replace the throw out bearing, you should consider replacing the clutch as well (you are going to have the trans off the car anyway). I am only suggesting this if you have not changed the clutch recently, don't know the condition of the clutch, or if there is not much life on it anyway. And a new clutch kit comes with all the needed bearing anyway...

if you get a clutch kit from a crappy brand i suggest you use a oem throwout bearing and discard the one that comes with the clutch kit. ive had bad luck on a freinds miata with a xtd clutch kit lol
 
It's happening to my car too. And now sometimes it won't go into gear at all. I hope I can make it back to SFL before it fails so I can change it.
 
yea thank god my s13 isnt my daily or else i would have been fucked. seriously though dude i got an exedy oem replacement clutch kit for less then $120 and swapped everything out and its gravy now. shifts like a hot knife to warm butter. and if you let it go to long youll have a hell of a time gettin the bearing race out because itll gaul or wear down real thin to where you have to chizzle the damn thing outa the block. just some words of advice from my experiance!
 
i feel u man and its my daily... but with no job i guess it's gonna just sit there =/ until i leave for the navy and sell it for like 900 or w/e
