What are man tires to you?

yeah, but I think I'll have room to fit em. If not, I'll get em under there somehow. I've ran 245/45/17 and almost always run 255/40/17. I gots room to spare on both.

Its not like my car can look any worse.

Hey I was looking at tire stuff a little while ago and they have the regular 615s in 265-35-18s. Don't know what the difference is between the k's and regs is though.

the compound of the k's is better and I think the tread is a bit different.

tread is the same... supposedly its a different compound... but i think its just an excuse to charge an extra 50 bucks a tire.

I drove on some 2754017 toyo r888 once they got warm I could barely spin them now I run 2554017or 18 nexen n 3000 at 25 psi to start and then drop back down if they get real hott cuz pressure goes way up and I get no traction

yeah the K's are a different compound, moto IQ tested them and they were good for 1.2 seconds quicker a lap around button williow on their lemons miata. all they changed was they went from regular 615's to the K's

i hate tests like that because the driver is not going to run perfect 2 laps. i agree the tire may be better but thats hardly proof to me, evidence, but not proof.

my camaro comes with 245 front 265 rear stock so id say 300+ cause i can fuck up a set of 265 in seconds with 400hp

1.2 sec a lap is a pretty big difference. I'm sure they made more than 1 lap on each set too you bonehead.

I wish I could afford new tires to slide... :( Must be nice not having to use the e-brake to slow down and to be able to power through the turn.

yea its no doubt its better but its not like that is a fair judge still. if he didnt make a mistake and it was only a 1/2 second faster, its a much different 'perception'.

anyways, the STIG only did one lap in cars hahaha.
