And it would be about the same...sr swap is also 1K. plus engine...
so in price there is not much difference.
if you like 240 go for it...if you like e30 go for it...who really gives a shit what you are driving..do what YOU like. and all the nissan owners trying to put e30 down because of unknown reasons...price tag is pretty much the same if you know where to look....and it's freddy from ebay who sells this shit.

Honestly I think anybody who bring this argument or the coupes vs. hatch argument should be banned permanetly. This stupid arguments get us nowhere. Who the fuck cares which one is better its all preference. BMW has w/e aftermarket wise over here. 240 has insane aftermarket because every fan boy and their mother has one. Both cars are good platforms the choice is yours not anyone elses.

If you think a BMW is hard to work on, quit working on cars. I work on them all day everyday and they are so fucking simple. It's people like you that make noobs shy away from spreading their horizons ,and instead, jump on the bandwagon. And then alas, another BMW hater born with no reason besides they heard from this guys dads moms grandma that BMW's are hard to work on. And since so many uneducated people keep spreading that rumor, it lives. I don't care what car you pick. I'd rather none of you people get one to tell you the truth.
 
bmw's are the easiest cars to work on in the world, theres NO car better then a bmw, no car can even compare, all hail German fucks. Everyone buy a bmw so already bmw owners will buy 240s. YAY~!!!!

Worked on a couple acctually at work, Drove one I liked it but Didnt like it, mainly the car is to big for me must be tall american/ german, not the cars fualt but mine. SR? pff i love my ka to much. Have i owned one nope just a 240 for 8 years now. BMWs are still NOT easy to work on, I acctually had to buy special tools to work on them. work on a cadillac catera aka Opel but made buy germans americans and mexicans. I thought that car was just as hard to work on as a BMW.

So which part was hard? buying the special tool? or using it? Is the only reason you are calling it hard to work on the fact that you need torx heads? reason for torx is that they can use a bigger radius bolt in a smaller space like around transmission etc... because of the smaller head on the bolt it makes it easier to get the tool on it which makes it easier to work ON!!!!!!! There is not one person in this forum that has worked on more BMWs than I and I can almost bet that I've worked on more nissans than 99% of people in this forum, Believe me when I say they are both easy to work on, Both have some kinks and hard to do things like installing a tranny in sr nissan is a bitch ten times harder than to BMW. Installing clutch master cylinder in Automatic to manual swap BMW is a bitch etc..... Never ending.

Thats like saying a rotary is better then a piston motor, sorry theres a reason why 90% of the world dosnt use torx and dont use rotaries. why do germans use torx, its not because of a better design, its so there different then everyone else, thats it. I had to remove the fucking intake manifold to replace the fucking starter on a 328. Not to mention the torx bolts broke because of them being seized, might had somethign to do with me not having practice using torx, since you MUST have them perfectly straight or else you will fuck it up. and that was 1 or 6 i have worked on so far, every one of them a BITCH.

Changing a starter on a 328I E30 such an thing doesnt excist! Wait maybe it does in your world but certainly not in ours.

Torx bolt broke because it was seized? yes only torx bolts seize forgot about that, stupid me. Having normal 6 angle bolt doesnt get fucked up when you have the tool crooked?

well one thing i can say is ive driven both e30 and 240 e30 more comfortable than 240 but one thing i will admit is 20 aftermarket is cheaper so no matter what we can go on and on about different ways which one is better but its just gonna be a waste of time and only gonna start probs so lets just drop the stupid subject
