what do you guys think about a vq35hr swap into a s13...i got motor tranny 6spd,harness pedals and everything.....its from an 08 350z....is it a common swap??

its pretty common.. not on here, but its a common swap and it runs reallllllly good

thats wat i think...but every 1 tells me to go sr....i wanna do something different...the only thing holding me back is the cross member its 1200 bucks......i cant find 1 cheaper...

you need the ignition and key and other crap too its not as cheap as a sr swap but it runs a lot better and can take more abuse

My tranny is crap! if u can look into the z32 trans and iv also heard of the rb25 trans bolting up to the vq, i have blown my slave cylinder idk 3 or 4 times.....just a heads up( may not happen on all vq trans)
other than that, i love my vq, power is nice! technosquare reflash is also something u might wanna look at! only thing i dnt like bout it is the dual throttle body thingg but i have diff intensions for my vq....
i say do it!

where can i find a cheaper cross member....the only one i found is off of vq swap.com but they are expensive......
