I need to get a new set of tires on the front due to my... um crash

Anyway I was looking at these kuhmos http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes&place=2

$63 bucks a pop in the size I need, seems like a good deal and they are rated well.. I'm looking to spend the least amount possible and still have a decent tire, Yay? Nay?

Also does anyone know of a place local that stocks this tire??

OOO and it says it's WR speed rated... I can't find the spec for WR

but W is 168mph... ???

Try wheelMax.Com !!! I get my tires from here and they have a warehouse located in miami so quick shipping.

i really did not like the spt at all. my front was sliding all over the place with these 225's on front and rear was a dry rotted 400 treadwear 225.

I bought these tires Rick... now it's on your head if they suck! :p

you didnt read the fine print.

If you are not satisfied with tires that have 200 treadwear and are not willing to pay over 100$ a tire, I can not be held liable for your driving experiance.

If they are sized 225-40 - 245-45 and you dont like them ill buy them off of you for 65% of what you just paid.

hey i'm sure they are better then the 400 tread wear worn to almost nothing tires I had up front... really the tires loosing grip are what caused me to hit them dam logs

My own fault for having shitty tires up front

be sure you have your camber adjusted properly to maintain the largest contact patch you can. Its kinda a balence inbetween tire wear and performance on a street car. Optimizing the amount of rubber that is on the ground while you are turning will give you the most grip.

If you only have 2 inches of the tires tread in contact with the pavement while turning. Then you are only using 2 inches of avalible rubber to turn on, it dosent matter if you have a sticky tire or not. You need to get that tread surface on the pavement to turn.
