With or without power steering witch do you perfer

i havent had any in a while, doesnt bother me. just feels a little weird when i get in cars that do have power steering
 
With a power steering rack in a 240, it's absolutley stupid to de power it.
A legitment manual rack is a whole
different story.
If what I was told is true....... A power rack has a different ratio in it, so it's hard as balls to turn without power going to it. A manual rack is differently ratio(ed?) so it works best with no power going to it.
Leave it powered if it's a stock powered rack.... Unless it's a miata from what I hear.
 
if u got it and it works, leave it in. It's better.

but-

i pulled mine out after it went bad and it was no big deal turning the wheel. The only negative i see is hitting your hand on the steering wheel when it whips back or self centers.

Only car i dont care to have PS in is a CRX...:rolleyes:
 
powersteering ftw but i also drifted without it not bad...sucks for daily driving tho
 
it sucks alot when your on bank trying to counter steer and the wheel wont move and you pop a blood vessel trying to not hit a wall.
 
dont get rid of it to "save weight"

i hate hearing people say they powersteering and a/c out to save weight!!!

really in florida your gonna take your a/c out? retarded!
 
powersteering is soo much better than not having it for drifting.

I've had a few cars where it was taken out and I hated them for it.
