that thing is the freaking bomb! dont get rid of it. thats the type of car that 5 10 years down the road your kicking yourself for getting rid of it.

yea and when he says "classic" means true car enthusiests know exactly what a nice and awsome looking car you have there don't go into a type of car where everyone has, especially those little kids that say hey i got this sti or evo from my parents is it cool!!!!

STI sucks BIG ASS especially the new ones with that ugly front. Yuck they look like gay bugs lol! Evo is much better. If you are going for a new Evo, fuck the 9 wait till the X comes out in a few months. That thing will pwn almost anything on the streets, performance and looks combined. ESPECIALLY A FUCKING STI!!!!!!!!!!!!

8 for sure...if needed.....whats faster? your car or a slightly modded evo??

All those new electronic doo-dad's on the Evo X (and previous Evo's) don't really make for a better performance car in general. What they succeed in doing is making for a car that's easier to handle at the limit when compared with other cars (such as the STi). When it comes down to it though, if you're modding, you're splitting hairs when trying to decide which is the better car. So what if the magazines can manage .05 more latteral g's, run through the slalom 3 mph faster, or finish a lap at Tsukuba 3/10's quicker - an STi and an Evo are both VERY capable cars. I'd also be very worried about jumping into the new Evo X - Mitsubishi has never been known for their dependability and they're going to be using the new 4B11T engine in the X. If you didn't know, they almost got shut down in Japan for covering up recalls over the years (and having too many of them as well).

Besides, gotta admit this is a hott ass car - Zero Sports time attack STi:

I wish i had the money to buy that car (it has STATUS). Dont go for the mitsu....theyre notorious for being shitty and their resale value sucks. Atleast think about buying a 350z or an S2000.

Wow pay 30k for a 2 seater? hmm. ^^^^

Although I do agree with alot that you said Dori. I still have to say an EVO is better. The STI is an ugly car now. In order for it to look good with that frontend you have to mod it. Now weather he goes with an EVO or STI he will be paying around $1100 a month. Thats car note and insurance. I know cause my boy has an EVO9. This means unless he is living out of a box he won't be able to mod either for a while. Modded I agree the STI is a good car..... But I can't say its better then the EVO. The time atteck champ in the AWD is an EVO last time I checked. Before the EVO it was aN R34 GT-R. STI's are good but in the performance department I've seen EVO's out perform STI's everytime. Although you may not think so, until I really did my research I was a STI fan. To be honest I think he should keep his car. These cars are both expensive to mod. Just to install a clutch my boy payed $1200 since you have to drop the front diff.

Lighter than AWD vehicles. Besides, rear-drive cars are race oriented unlike AWD which is awesome...if u wanna go offroading and too afraid to lose control and drive on the edge (like drifting ;) )

The evo time attack champ car you're talking about is a full on, no BS, purpose built time attack race car...carbon fiber up the ass, LOADs of hp, and sick downforce. That Zero Sports STi runs Tsukuba in 57.285 with only 400hp, off the shelf suspension components (zeal coilovers), and no exotic body materials. It's all preference really...Evo or Sti, win - win. I'll take the STi, you can have the Evo. ;)
