Turbo keeps falling off stock manifold. Why?

More details. S13 redtop with S15 t28. New gasket from manifold to turbo. new nuts two with locking washers.
They are falling off....

Now Im driving a turbo na car because air escapes.

About to add pictures to the jb weld thread lol.

The bolts backing off? You can try that nissan bolt lock plate thingy or I heard if you put a little spot weld on there it will be fine. Just when you go to take it off put some torque on it and it should come off pretty easily. Just some things Ive heard of people doing...

Are you sure you're using the right size bolts?

Loc-tite might work, but my guess is it would melt and be useless.

How much torque are you putting on them?

The loctite that's only good for 350f.... no I'm not dumb just crazy

I upgraded turbo installed normal. They backed off. Nuts fell off the stud. There are no bolts.
So I suspect flange. I get a new one and torque them down good and put two out of 4 with locking washers.

What Nissan lock plate?

Easy everyone has this problem, and idk why it has a very simple solution that nissan fixed from the factory. Go to nissan and order two locking plates from 93+ 300zx tt. Also replace the gasket and install those plates and your done. Taching them with a mig welder works great too, But sucks to take apart and sometimes ruins the studs. Do as i say and your troubles will be gone!!

Theres a plate that goes under the nuts on the turbo side, anfter you tighten the bolts you bend a little piece up and its supposed to keep the bolts from backing off. Ive heard some people saying it doesnt work well all the time tho. Id go with the spot weld...

Bill just posted the name... There Nissan locking plates...

I'm using the nissan locking plates as well as 4 lock washers. No problems yet. Bill gave me the ones I have and really glad I decided to use them.

Why doesn't this come up when I tried Google.

Damn I love you guys.
I was planning on getting new nuts tightening them and using jb weld on the nut stud so if I ever need to take it off the whole stud will come out. But that plate sounds alot more legit. Thanks

Also is there anything I can do so if other people are having this problem and they Google it they can read this?

This thread will show up on google if the correct words in the search are used

driftworks sells the special nuts that guarantee that bitch will never come off. Go check out their site.
