WTF NRG Short Hub

someone owed me money and decided to give me a NRG short hub for s13/s14 and an NRG steering wheel instead, but now I have a problem; I installed it today and the Horn button would not fit on there, there was not enough clearance for it to fit, and it hit the bolt for the steering column. Did I do something wrong or is there something wrong with the setup?

Also I tried to install a QR on there that a friend had laying around and that too did not have enough clearance to fit......any input would be nice...if anyone else has the same short hub and doesnt have this problem lemme know
 
I'll have pics up tomorrow......I think it might be that the short hub is designed only to be used with a Nrg qr?? I dunno I'll get pics up soon
 
I read some stuff online about this hub eliminating "airbags, cruise control, and horn."

So my guess is if you want a horn button, get creative.
