www.SFLDrifters.com

I am a Poser, I drive a Honda, I dont street Slide, I dont go to events, I have never driven a 240sx or any RWD cars, and yet I am a MODERATOR of this forum. So that shows all those posers (like me) out there. That if you POSE as hard as you can , you can one day be a MODERATOR. HIT-N-RUN

You can label me as a poser. I dont mind. Im only 16 and im still working on my car just to get the bitch running properly...Josh and Rick know....Josh knows hes gonna receive a phone call as soon as my cars on the road...

Nick is a nice guy and took us to the store at an event...yeah he's not a drifter yet but he goes to events and is actually interested in learning to drift and will actually drift.

the people that piss me off the most on this forum is the ones with the really nice cars that happen to be RWD but don't drift. 30k sure would build a bad ass drift car. coilovers on your s13 so it can sit in a parking lot while you talk about drifting. WTF

Wow.. if you guys are seriously gonna fuck up this thread, I'm going to ban you all for a week. And no I'm not kidding.

Why don't you just start...

editing or deleting posts from retards that have no real facts to contribute and would rather just start fights and post up complete and total bullshit they know nothing about.

I don't understand why the mods on here stopped deleting and editing posts. Do eet.

I will be honest with you, this thread is so full of drama. Since the beginning of this forums we have been dealing with bullshit talking non drifters, or in other word BENCH DRIFTERS. They dont drift they dont know shit all they do is talk out of their ass. We have learned to deal with these idiots, and yet there is all this drama in this forum, about who is a poser and who is not. Mods and admins lets stop talking crap and lets concentrate on the real goal; which is to get out little local forum more organized, to get stickers, shirts, hold our own meets, to set up deals with vendors so some our members can afford new parts. thats what we need, We dont need 2 on going threads about who is a poser and who is not.

Amazing someone finally figured it out.

Robert, what you're talking about is a different issue, which by all means I agree with you and have suggested many things to the done, all of which I heard no interest from anyone else. But theres a place for us to discuss that.

For the current subject, I think that enforcing something like this is necessary. This is a drifting forum and we are here to support drifting, not bench drifting. I believe that Bench Drifter is a bit more PC than a Poser but in the end, but again, we gotta motivate these guys to do something about it. That's what we are here to do.

the thing is that some of these guys dont have the balls, we drive our cars cars 600-800-1000 miles to participate on an event, while some of these guys are whinning about 80 dollar events. I have been living by myself since i was 17, i go to school full time, i work full time, i have more bills than the bill of rights, and yet i manage to drive my car to events. All i see in this threads is a waste of time, these guys are not going to stop whinning only because we are calling them posers, they dont live our life style, they dont enjoy drifting, they are just in it because is the new trend.

What do you suppose we do? I personally think that if we put every single one against the wall we'll see who really wants to get into it or who just wants to be a fanboy.

i say charge money to be a member of this site. the money that you charge goes into an account you can only withdraw money from that account for events. say i pay $10 a month and don't go to an event for 3 months. i get $30 prepaid to an SFLDrifters event. if nondrifters want to pay $10 a month to be a member so be it. if they decide that they will never drift then that money can go towards stickers shirts and events. who wants to be in charge of this????that was drifters are never really wasting money and people who are just into drifting have to really be into drifting to want to shell out $10 a month.

Fucking genious. I dono if im the only one but I think its genious! I mean, I have some big plans as Josh knows for my car, and I figure, if it takes 8 months for me to get my car on the road and dialed in properly, then shit! Ive got a "free" OSW event. Or a half paid for DG trials event.

i am not saying for them to change their mind, all i am saying is that this whole poser thing is a waste of time. Example MANNY...He is a waste of time.

How about a separate section for the forum for those who subscribe to it? You'd be elligible for further vendor discounts, and other goodies probably at events, and more ideas to be discussed.

How bout you make it a private forum and when people register they can only view a few selected forums. Then put a label somewhere that explains, you must be a drifter to gain full access to this drifting community.

Make it so that people can still browse around but they just cant go into the fun forums unless they prove themselves on footage.

Like keep the vids, technical, and classified's, private.

Sure we might lose some people but we will also gain people and in the long run the site will actually have a bigger percentage of DRIFTERS then e drifters. It will make the site alot funner too. Plus people will see that Sfldrifters mean business. :bigthumbu

Wow this is what the forum is resulting to !!!! Question how come Florida Drift dosen't have these problems???IMHO I think that it's a waste of time and effort. In stead of taking the time to exclude members of the forum and lableing the as "Posers" why don't WE take the time and try to promote and expand the forum with Decals and Shirts . I've only been to 2 events one in Hialeah and the other OSW and I street slide whenever I get a chance but I still have never posted any vids of me sliding, does that mean that i'm a "Poser". All i'm trying to say is that lableing a member as a "Poser" until they've proved otherwise isn't going to make US as a group look anymore mature.IMHO

Those who are really interested would sign up for an exclusive forum..... and if you join, it doesnt make you a drifter, or else you could pay your way to be called a drifter, and that's not how it works.

I think something of a subscription should be implemented.
