On top of the fact that it was a free event, you get to drive some nice cars and improve a bit on your driving skills. The courses weren't set up to drift, they were setup for grip.

and JUST because u couldnt drift the turns doesnt mean their undriftable.. with proper skill u can drift a single lane.. U JUST CANT. sooooo STFU noob and go practice

STFU Noob and go practice?????????? Dickhead, I don't even drift. I drive a HONDA, yeah a HONDA CIVIC. Drifting is a thing of the past for me. And NO you couldn't drift those lanes without hitting cones, they were too damn narrow. I've owned 2 s13's in the past and been a member of this forum for like a year, so STFU and go get kicked out of another free event.

Agent rice who were you at the event. Sorry I dont know many peoples screen names on here unless I know them pretty well and I still forget names about 12seconds after I meet someone.

Wasnt trying to be a dick with my post, but it does add up when youre waiting in a huge line and watching people F up right and left, miata course was def the place to do it though.

A few years ago at Rev-it-up they had a test drive course where they only wanted you to drive spiritedly, no auto-x stuff. I took the mazdaspeed turbo miata out and proceeded to drift the whole course and only get about 5 cones total, all with the back end =) Only reason I didnt get kicked out was because they say my crew shirt from working the course the previous day. wheeeeeee

31.297, Erick checked times and apparently I was 7th for the whole weekend, not bad I suppose.

I clipped a cone on that run though, even though they didnt catch it. One or two more runs and I could have put it in the 30.xxx's I wanted a hat damnit!! =(
 
Did they have the MazdaSpeed 3 there?
It is a sweet ride. Got to flog it around the HMS road course a few months ago. Easily one of the best handling FWD cars on the market today. A friend is running one in the US Rally Championship. The 250hp isn't bad either. Just wish they made it in a 2 door hatch instead of just the 4 door.
