So i went to UTI this weekend because they were having an open house. Ive been looking at that school for a while and the open house just happened to be the same weekend that i was going to orlando so i decided to go. is it a good school though??... i wanna know from a graduate because there they paint like the best picture to get you to go there... it looked nice and the people were great
 
from what i hear its better then wyotech. my brother went to wyotech and said it was a joke. he learned more at broward comunity college then he did at wyotech.

thats what i plan on doing.. im doing Mercedes and im either taking toyota or nissan as an elective.
I really dont want to go to college, its not for me, at UTI you dong have to take history or english or even math... from what they said at the open house its cars cars cars... I was talking to this one kid that graduated there and he said he works for nissan in NY now. He told UTI where he was going to live and they found him a job right when he moved to NY. He told me that they go in the class room for one day to learn what they are gonna do (brakes, transmission, etc) then the rest of the days they learn by working in the shop.
Sounds pretty cool and its cheaper than college

Just get into a Dealership and you won't have to take Tech school. And most dealerships will pay for you to goto school as a tech.
 
well im 17 so i dont know if ill be able to work at a dealership. How do they pay for school and which school do you go to?
 
they paid for my brother to go to broward community college. You go to the school they get you a job a dealership then most of them pay for the school. its a sponsership program.
 
its really a good school for the money. Its better then wyotech for less then a quarter of the price. Plus you dont have to be in shity ass wyoming lol. I went up there to chill with my brother while he was there and iwas very unimpressed with everything about the school.
 
broward costed a little over 6gs for my brother to get his AS. but he did fail a few classes so if your not a reatard like him it will cost less.
 
the only reason to go to UTI and not a community college is to do an MSAT program like Mercedes BMW etc if you want to go there to learn to be a tech go somewhere else
the basic program is a joke.

Anyone who fails out of UTI is a moron. Because seriously I am a dumb motherfucker and I graduated with honors

how much did u pay? and wat programs did you do?
