renting it out for a private session (for a half day); trying to get as many people as possible so it can be super-mega-sortve-cheap, want to know who is down. (ps: I neeeeed pre-payments + meet up w/ me if your going to attend) thanks. :)

closer to $75 if you have like 10 people

It cost 6 of us 85 or something for the half day and we ran out of tires before we ran out of time.

danm you are right...and i have a final exam at 3:30pm on thursday .. so no can do :( :(:( well next time will be ... at least i will keep my car intact for another week lol :laugh::laugh:

Desoto is not by tampa btw... its about 90 min south of tampa.
Desoto is in bradenton/sarasota area.
From miami its about 3 hour drive. from WPB should be just over 2 hours.

and if u want to see the track use the link to Box on YouTube in my sig, has a video from desoto speedway in there.

Desoto looks like the best layout for an oval track. Once I get car running I will have to try it out.

we've decided to postpone it.. due to lack of PREPAYMENT >.< we're looking at mid april.. but I will post a thread 3 weeks in advance... when we decide on a date.. *T_T;
Bailey - yeah that price was definately like random guessdimates.. I want to see at least 10 people attend the practice.

It be cool if I could get a head count on mid april attendees?
 
Yeah Box had broke the whole thing down.

I think Im doing orlando 4/5 possibly Gville the same day, and then Myrtle Beach mid April.
 
4/5? I may have my car drift ready again by then (*my front left wheel bearing is going..>_<) is it just come as you are? or pre-reg? :)
 
I hate Tein Tie rod ends!!!! People don't buy them they are weak!!! the megan's have a way better design, and aren't that expensive.....rip racer, myself, fc3sbmx, my roommate, jen and bigdogg rented out the track last week for a private track day. It was cool, except that two of us broke our cars half way through the day!!! Fc3s has an explotary, and the motor decided it wanted its oil changed so it puked it out every where, and my car decided it didn't like my alignment and ripped the outer tierod in half...needless to say it was a fun track day I think its definitly worth it if you get enough people, just make sure your triple A coverage is good enough to get you back home if something catestrophic(spelling) were to happen....
