Well I quit my job today for getting in an argument with my manager and told him shove the job right up his fat ass!

well after quiting he told me im holding your paycheck for full 30 days and hes going back and altering my paycheck from week before and changing it from 8 an/ hr and making it 6.72.... just wondering is this at all legal... we get payed weekly and i don't see how he can go back to the previous week and alter a paycheck... also this place is a very shady telemarketer place... when we call people were selling Florida vacations... we have no computers just a phone and a script to read from... is it legal to lie to people on a phone and say " you are a major credit card holder correct" they say NO then i come back with "well my computer shows your in good standing with American express, Visa, Master Card or Discover" how can we legally lie to someone and say we have computers when we dont... thats FRAUD!!! and also when they ask about air fare... my managers pick up phone and say "Let me check my computer" **NOTE** we have no computers they are making these numbers up outta thin air. then he comes back and says "ok mam on my computer orbitz is 175 from new orleans to orlando fl" how is that legal to lie about prices??? Im tring to get this place shut down cause of how they fuck people... they sell these packages to people on DEATH BEDS!!!:mad: i mean these old people are DELUSIONAL! and they are just playing with them to get their CC#... but yeah so high lights i quit they are altering my paycheck and im tring to find out how to get them shut down.

any tips? and is that legal to alter my paycheck? cause it was this Tuesday I quit and we get payed weekly! so yeah any tips? or who to call to get these fucks pwnt...

note i hated this job and HATE TELEMARKTERS! i only worked there for a total of 7 days! started on last monday.
 
1. No, I don't think he can alter your check if you had an agreement on a salary.

and

2. I think even telemarketers need some sort of business license. I'd say to check with the BBB.

only thing i filled out was my Job Application and thats no contract lols... it said nothing in fine print cause i read all that shit... but yeah idc if i only made 8 an hour thats still over 40$ they are taking from me... im tring to get ahold of an attourny ive emailed local news stations about the situation lols telling them how they sell shit to ppl on death beds that arent aware of where they are or who they are... so yeah... we shall see.

Have filled out BBB, and Consumer Service form online :bigthumbu also got an email back from the BBB they said its nothing they can assit with and told me to contact this place in tampa florida when i call its a hispanic gentlemen recording to transfer calls every time i hit the # 3 it says Transfering now... then the damn thing hangs up on me... i repeated this 5x idk wtf is goin on with these places ill find the name and let you know what the place is called.. also any good Attourneys anyone knows of in Tampa area please post names and #s i will contact them... cause im in full haul for a law suit now.

IT IS CONSIDERED FRAUD YOU MIGHT WANT TO CALL THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FILE A REPORT ON THEM OR MAYBE TAKE IT A STOP HIGHER AND CALL A FEDERAL BRANCH(FBI MOST LIKELY) TELL THEM THE SITUATION THAT PLACE WILL GET SHUT DOWN QUICKLY IF THEY INVESTIGATE IT.

Call all lawyer that works with unpaid overtime type deals. If anything they'll just say "Fine, heres your full paycheck" And it's over. But if they are an illegal business and you get them seriously investigated... 1. You may not get any paycheck 2. They'll get shut down.
 
If he is crooked enough to have you lie to customers on phone, then he is crooked enough to try anything else. He can try messing with your check, but it is not legal. For how long did you work for him? Just curious.

well im gonna push this very hard tomorrow im going to call Bay News9 see if they wanna fuck with these people cause i know everyone hates telemarketers so im sure they will be interested in this story!
