Refinishing s13 dash?

I noticed at the TerTech qualifier that several s13s had refinished dashes with this gator/crocodile skin look on them. How is this done?
 
very carefully :D nah I think Paul (DrftnR14) could give u a better answer - I believe he did his own dash in suede
 
You could do something quick to cover it up using a kind of contact cement and patience. Going over contours and curves can be a little tricky. I've only done this once so I can't add too much to this.

I'm interested in some experts on this as well, got an idea for a gauge pod that would require recovering the dash.

yep my family company does reupholestery, if ur intrested u would have to bring in the dash and pick out the material u want.

exp. my s14 dash was redone in black suede total with material and labor was $200

What other materials can you do? I'm not really that big on the suede for a daily/drift car lol just me. Your work looks really good though : )
 
We can do 99%anything!! We have a vast amounts of sample books togo through and or u can supply ur own fabric. Like I said before u would have to bring the piece in so we can see how much labor it would take plus how much material it would take todo the job.
 
yes we can do it!!!! but u need to bring it in or atleast a picture of it with the dimensions so we can give u a estimate on labor and a cost on what material u wanna do it with
