Learned this bout a month ago but keep forgetting...

The D80 has a commander mode which remote triggers speedlights (no wires!). Been trying it with my SB800 and works amazingly. Yea I know I should read the manual but I didn't know that:bigthumbu

thanks for the old news lol

nah jk I just found out about it a few months ago cuz my friend has a D80 and he told me it has the same CLS features as the D300

the REAL news is Nikons new DVD coming out about how to use it, 2 1/2 hours long, in one of the parts some guy uses 13 speedlights

and the D3x XD

Nice. Wow 13 speedlights?

My D70 Has the same feature.. Nikon already has a DVD out explaining how to use their CLS, its been out for quite some time, guess they made another. Thats cool i guess, CLS has its limitations.

CLS doesn't work that well outdoors on really bright days, or that could be the canon st-e2. Also the flashes reciever has to be pointed at the body otherwise the flashes won't fire. That is one great thing about Nikon cameras though. But nothing will replace pocket wizards.
