need help installing the tranny

im in my auto class right now and im having a difficult time getting my ka transmission in. any helpful hints

i had to replace the throwout bearing

then it should go right in jus try wiggling it

Turn it 90* Lift it in rotate it back and bolt up. The Starter housing makes contact with the firewall when lifting straight up. You can also drop the crossmember a bit but make sure you have it supported.

i rotate the starter hump to the bottom get the shaft in then turn the tranny before you get it all the way in and bolt it up. It took me like 30 tries to get mine in but once i rotated it it went right in. Oh and lossening your motor mounts and jacking up the front of the motor till the valve cover hits the fire wall will also help.

i solved the problem by beating the shit out of the firewall and it slid right in

next time for u and every1 else just pun a jack on the crank pully and tilt the motor.
