yeah yeah, they are fake, but what do you guys think about them? honestly. the guy tells me he is definitely selling knock offs of the VOLK type wheels. they are forged overseas, japan he says. the offset sucks, but i don't really want any of the rota's or other wheels in my favor for the miata. 16x7 is alright and the offset can definitely be fixed with spacers.

to me, the only wheels i like other than these in my price budget are rota slipstreams, 16x8 +20 and the xxr501's, 16x8 +15.

slipstreams:

the reason why i'm resorting to cheap wheels? i understand the craftsmanship behind these wheels and they aren't that great. i've seen the aftermath and read the stories, but im a little thrifty and expensive wheels in my favor aren't worth it to me right now. i don't plan on drifting the miata on these wheels, as they will be my daily commuter wheels for hard parking and stuff. word. should i bite the bullet and rock em? or find something better and knock em?

if it were me, id put knock off wheels on my drift car. Knowing my luck, once I put nice ass wheels on my car, id slam the wall or hit a curb or someone would poop on em. Id try to floss hard as shit on the daily. But then again, save the dollars on cheap wheels for the daily, then you get more money for the race car.

thanks pat, the wheels are definitely nice, for the price and style i cant go wrong. i know fakes wheels get bashed all the time. but then there are the wheels that are knock offs but still sick as fuck. like the mb battles. basically, the reason im liking these is because they look good and i wont be like every other miata on rota's.

im also up for suggestions of other wheels in 4x100 16x8, but no zero offset. reason for that is i don't want to roll my fenders right now, due to the new paint that is getting put on. please, no 002's.

what do you guys think about getting wheels redrilled?

i like the rota d2's, 16x7 but a terrible offset, i would need mega spacers to get away from super sunken fitment.

and then, theres also the badass rota grid off roads. the only thing about these is its hard to find a set. 16x8 +10 i think is the fitment.

I love knock off parts. 9 times outta ten, they're gonna just as good. I dont got money to floss like the ballers, so im gonna have a bunch of knock off shit. 3/4 of my car was built by ebay knock off parts.

i rarely see knock off parts fail super bad. but it happens, and i know that. its the risk we take when we got a taste for champagne but only on a beer budget.

LMAO i love high life

they dont look bad for the price i use to roll knock offs for wheels but ive had so many brake that i stopped. I do however have many knock off parts on my car just not wheels. Where i live the roads are horrible so hitting pot holes = no more wheels. I got some pana sports now and i hit all kinds of shit with them they just dont bend. I say fuck it get them then get good wheels when you have extra money.

Just do some research, there will either be good or bad stories of them.

Its like rota, 90% of their wheels get a bad rep. But the p45r, not 1 horror story has been posted on the internet. If you read up enough, you will find something on the wheels. And then make your decision from there.

these are pretty new from what ive looked up via google. most people are the same way. knock offs are knock offs, you get what you pay for. being that they are new, there are zero reviews because people are afraid to get the knock off wheels with zero rep.

China parts are china parts. You don't need a review on them to know what they are.
