u have to have the support on, i just got pulled over for it. didnt have my bumper or support and i got a 91 dollar ticket.
 
have to have bumper and support ... u can get a ticket for not having it on...maybe if u have a bumper with no support you could get away
 
must have bumper! support is optional but if you have only the support on then its at the cops discretion whether he feels it is an acceptable bumper or not. This is from a cop last time i got pulled for no bumper. imo support is good enough but they can still give you shit if you wish. Ask officer dangle on this but that is what i was told.
 
i drove with just a bumper support for like 3 months and never got pulled over or got a ticket having to have a bumper cover if fuckin stupid its ewither urithane or plastic thats gonna do a whole lot in a crash

Yeah, I drove my car for like 6-7 months with no bumper and a cop just told me my car looked "not up to its best" without a bumper on it. hahaha. Other than that I never really had any problems....and that wasnt even really a problem, he just thought it was funny.

taking it off for clerance is not a good idea just paint it black

why do you need more clerance your car isnt that low?
 
in the past year and a half i think i drove my s13's more without bumpers than with

and never had a problem

but then again in jupiter i dont really ever have trouble with cops

theres a lot of sloped entrances to buisness around vero beach and i always catch plus its been dropped 2" so ive been hitting my swaybar and exhaust on speed bumps

you live in bfe, all the cops up there are rednecks they are drunk most of the time when they are on there shift.
