I'm thinking that the countyline comps should be run more like a real comp. this is just to see opinions and if there is more people that agree with me or don't.

IF there is 40 drivers only the top 16 drivers to qualify get to tandem. this means there is no need to pick drivers to tandem pre event. The first setup at the last comp people were having issues with the set up and then the track got changed yet some people didn't have issues with it that were in the solo group. I don't think its fair to have a predetermined tandem group if the tandem group can't do the track as is. This isn't something that i came up with after not being allowed to tandem in the next comp its something that i've already discussed with people before finding that out.

drivers that make top 16 should then have the choice to opt out of the tandem group if desired.

lololol my god there will always be 2 class'es of drivers (consistant)= tandam and (inconsistan) solo drivers.. now if there are 28 solo drivers in a comp thy should duke it in solo runs and at the top 8 maybe become tandam but there is always a but

if you throw tandam drivers into that mix then the outcome will be known...( the way you want it)

no fun the way you want things for people who go just for practice..

lololol but people go to events regardless of comp or practice people go todrive and have fun now what fucken fun would it be if you had 40 drivers 15 advanced drivers and 25novice drivers.. fine ull have a good chance but if its a comp then you should have 2 classes if it is a qulifyer then its a free for all that simple mang

and if you want to be technical then a comp and a qulifyer is diffrent.. im not gonna even explain man if you dont get it then just keep driveing and ur butt hurting

If i'm allowed to drift in the tandem next event i'm gonna stay in the solo no matter how well i do. Pablo your post if full of BS by the way.

i just want to piss you off and bro next event you go to i will go as well just to make you tandam and show you the diffrance betwen me and you... bro you complain worse than a bitch... lolol just go and drive what thy tell you to

and call it bs if you wantbut im sure some people will see my point

I guess keep it the tandem the way it is. What I really would like to see is an MSC type triple tandem thing going on. See which team of drifters can drfit the most exquisetly. -Just my 2 cents...

Part of the reason why the events are run that way is because of time constraints. For instance at the last competition, we didn't have time to do top 16 tandem bracket qualifying. That's why we had everyone pull numbers out of a bucket to determine their place in the bracket. We work with the little time we have, so we have to compromise some things. Haven't you noticed that the upcoming competition has a lower solo group limit? What I want you to understand is that what you're asking for we can't do. Why? Because of time. We've asked for more but that is all we're given.

As far as the predetermined tandem group's performance, I disagree with that. There was only 2-3 drivers if I recall correctly that had issues with the layout. Everyone else was able to manage and adapted to the new layout.

Bladder you would have to restructure the whole day not just the tandem because everybody would have practice runs then qualifying for top 16. Tandem bracket qualifying??? shouldn't that be easy. Person who qualifies 1st goes against 16th and 2nd vs 15th and so on.

Josh, just go out and prove yourself, and if you do you will be able to tandem later. Stop stressing about it, drifting is supposed to be about having fun, if you aren't having fun, then it isn't worth doing.

lmao look at this way josh... will u want some nooob to tandem w u.. come into the first turn and just smacks into u. because he doesnt know what his doing... again if ur in the tandem u have experience. and can actually control ur car.. if ur in the solo n want to make it into tandem and u think u can handle it then you ask for a chance..

Your acting like the Tandem groups run close. They run like 10ft. from each other. Hence why I think anyone can tandem, no one runs close to each other.

The closest I've seen is from Ofc. Dangle and Red in the skidpad event twice. Not trying to make an argument with anyone or stating that I'm better. But stating a fact in my eyes.

I don't understand why you two are thinking just anybody will make top 16. Do you think a person that can't control their car will make it. I've tandem with really bad drivers at Willow Springs and i just kept my distance.

Josh, it is simple, just come out to the event and "SOLO," if they see that you don't have a problem with the layout, they will consider you for tandem at upcoming events. But first you have to come out an basically audition. You have to be proven to tandem, prove yourself!

You are a fucking Idiot. I've run solo already and ran tandem already. you have no fucking clue.

Yes I know. But you still fail to realize the issue with time. The next event will be from 11AM - 5PM. If we were to run it like a real comp, this is how it would have to be organized:

1. Practice session for 32 drivers, 4 runs each. - About 2 hours
2. Track cleanup - 30 minutes if we're lucky
3. Qualifying, 3 judged runs - About 2 hours
4. Track clean up - Again 30 minutes if we're lucky
5. Tandem Runs - About 1 hour

That's exactly 6 hours. But if you take into account the possible delays that can happen like an accident or a vehicle breaking down on the track, we'll miss our mark.
